I was very surprised by that. I expected the preapplied SP to either be black or have logos on it, making it not useable and requiring you to shell out for an SP. It's a pro consumer move for sure, but will lead to less sales of SPs.
I'm so happy about the preapplied SP because I suck at putting on SPs myself. It's a very thin one, but it will do for the time being.
The S9 came with a silicone back cover, which also surprised me.
the screen protector it comes with is kinda garbage, just a piece of shitty plastic, but it's better than nothing

From the way the film is being curved in the picture, it's definitely not glass. And they want $40 for that screen protector. Insane.
The case itself is just a back cover and does not have a front cover.
Good case with no doubt but worth the price? Nah.

$75 for a plastic film screen protector and a case seems pretty pricey IMO.
Seems a bit redundant as the S10/+ comes with a preinstalled film protector anyway.
Never thought I'd see the day when phones cost as much as a mid level notebook and the case and screen protector costs more than a cheap basic mobile phone
get Spigen cases from ProGadgets…. alot cheaper then this …
also S10 comes with factory screen protector already
The "screen protector" that is on the S10 out of the box is just a flimsy plastic sheet. Probably just there for protection during assembly and packing. I ripped mine off together with the other plastic bits on the back and sides. I don't think screen protectors are really necessary anymore since the glass in the screen is so good. I had an S8 without screen protector for two years and it has no scratches at all.
+1 for Spigen cases. They are awesome and cost $20-30.i agree, i did the same with my s8
this time im keeping the stock screen protector is so i can trade in my phone for the S10 5g later :D
