You should weight up whether you even need a capsule. For those who will drive their baby to places nearly every day then maybe but for those who use the car once per week then it's unnecessary and just get a good car seat from day 1

    • Agree… these are really a money grab and it works well on new parents

      • Agreed. We were given one for our first baby four years ago and are now using it for the second. My husband and I don't even know how to get the capsule out of the car!

        • Disagree. Everyone's circumstances are different but for us the ability to get bub in and out of the car without waking and strapping him in was well worth the money. Rented some adapters for our pram and it was a godsend.

I'll admit that some capsules have a ridiculous price tag, though.

Edit: replied to the wrong person.

    • Agree.. depends how tall your baby is as well, they can outgrow very fast

  • I have this capsule, purchased it from amazon. I use it a lot and would recommend. Only thing is the manufacture date on it was June 2017 when it arrived. I purchased it in December 2018 so if you’re looking at resale value it’s something to consider.

I got a capsule that's compatible with my pram, other mums have said it's a godsend when you go out and you can just unclipped from car and snap it on the pram. Got 2 bases for it costing $100 all up, so hoping it can resell that amount.

Yes it’s really good for that. Particularly when they’re asleep. Just keep in mind the time limit.

  • "…avoids having to wake the baby when going from car to pram…"

Please consult with your baby to see if this will actually prevent them from waking up during transfer.

    • confirmed with mine it does.

  • I bought a used but excellent condition ISOFIX one off eBay for $200, use it for 6 months and sold it on Gumtree for $180.
    Best $20 I've ever spent.
