Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer $289.80 Shipped @ eBay UK

40
PLAY15

Been shopping around for the E3 Pro for a month now, waiting for a really good deal to jump at.

This is probably the lowest it's ever been.

It's a local retailer but bought through eBay UK to get 15% off. Original eBay AU listing here

See the original post for some excellent instructions on how to set up an eBay UK account. I just set it up a few minutes a go and checked out with no hassle.

P.S. Somehow CR still has 0.75% cashback on eBay UK :)

  • Just watched a review that suggested there's not much of a difference to the non pro version. Anything make this stand out for you?

    • +2

I'm not 100% sure either. I asked a mate who's been a hobbyist for years (with 5 personal printers), he said the pro's worth the ~$50 over the base model for me and I'm taking his word for it. From what I can tell, the Pro's got
a better PSU (faster and more stable heating for bed and nozzle, quieter),
a magnetic bed (huge convenience according to my friend compared even to tempered glass beds)
a wide y-axis strut for better stability (kinda dubious imo the actual belt seems to be identical)

I reckon you could get pretty close if you just get the base model and a magnetic bed yourself hey

Thanks - good find - grabbed one.

    Great model and good price!

  • How does it compare to the prusa i3 versions being sold on ebay?

    • +1

The "prusa i3 versions" on ebay are all clones of varying quality. The only way to get a real Prusa is to buy from an actual online store or from the Prusa website itself.
I have an original Ender 3 and as long as you treat the 3D printer as a hobby, you'll be fine. There will be a lot of tinkering, head scratching, and Facebook group searching if your machine doesn't print absolutely perfectly from the box.

  • Shows ups $340 for me, and PLAY15 can't be applied

  • What does it make? Plastic toys?

    • +1

It makes anything out of plastic. You feed 3D drawings to it and it makes the object.

    • Look up 'thingiverse'- Should give an idea of what can be made
