        They are pretty bold looking dials. I am really taken by the contrast of the gunmetal crown and bezel against the stainless steel. I'm yet to commit to a samurai.

  I'm very interested in the black samurai (but not on sale today)
  The only thing that is making me hesitate is the +45 -35 accuracy.
  Can anyone comment on how accurate their 4R35 movements are.

      That's a much better range than their advertised. I wonder if you got a good movement or the majority of them are much better than advertised

      I'm a minute fast currently and haven't reset the time in a few weeks. That's 3-4 seconds a day, I take the watch off for gym, sleep, shower - pretty much it goes on before work and comes off when I get home. I have a Seiko baby monster with the 4r36a. Mine ran 30s fast a day when I got it, settled down after a week or so to +3/4.

        Oh thats very good to hear, at that rate you dont need to adjust it for a month or two.
        Also good to hear that you have good experiences with 2 different 4r movements

          @thorpef1: ah no all about the same watch, i don't have anything with the 4r35, just the 4r36 that this watch in the deal has. i usually adjust it every couple of weeks, i have to do it every week if i don't wear it all weekend though as power reserve is only 40hr.

            @Wilburre: Very similar movement the 4r35 to 4r36. Date only vs day date so "shouldn't" be alot of difference
