    Here is a review that I found, which makes them look pretty good. The only issue seems to
    be if they are fakes or not.

    ive owned a pair of these. Sounds decent but not very durable.

    I had one side break apart, and when i got another replacement, the left side stoped working after about 6 months.

    If anything these are the old crappy stock they have. V moda Vibe 2 is the updated one, said to be more durable

    would not recommend

      That is the most common thing said about them.
      I have these and V2.

      In both cases the Kevlar cord is bloody annoying as the friction on it resonates through to the ear pieces.

    I got V-MODA VIBE 3 yrs ago. They got nice sound and the bass are nice. They are durable as i still use them till now. Once i forget them in my jeans. My jeans got washed and dried. Todate it still sound nice. No wear or tear problem. Only issue is that the wires got stiff. I am not sure if i got them from their website or from ebay that time. But beware of fake ones.

    that reminds me, as the speaker section is alloy, it is heavier than plastic and gets more momentum when moving. This means it will thump against your chest harder, again more sound transmitted along the noisy cable.

    great sounding, when not moving.

    V-MODA Vibe cable sleeve comes off too easily.
    Had exposed wires after 3-4 months of use.

    Because the earpieces are partly metal cased, they fall out of the ear easily by running or by a strong wind.

    Only good while sitting at a desk, and if that's the case, why buy canal phones?
    You are better off getting closed headphones then.
