PROGRAM20

Hi all,

Thought we'd throw this out there as the lowest price RTX system we've ever done. Paired with the B350 Mobo upgrade in the listing the 2300X can scale very nicely.
We have also dropped the RAM Upgrade price to $99 to make that more accessible.

Ryzen 3 2300X / RTX 2080 8GB / 8GB DDR4 2400MHz / 120GB SSD / 750W PSU / A320M Motherboard: $1299
Link: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192870413176

Build times are currently 15-20 days. I fully acknowledge that we didn't have a good Feb/March but those issues have been resolved and by early April we will be back towards 10 days and under.

If you're having trouble with delays for your system please get in touch and I'll help you out - I have lots of requests on the go so please bear with me and I may need a reminder, but I will get back to you.

I agree with you! I just wanted to know the magic this Ozbargainer would have needed to pull even if I use prices that UNDERCUT Umart's prices.

I also bought a 2600/RX580 build from these guys and it went smoothly

          • +1

@Garbotoxin: his price is a bit stupid.. Did a quick build at UMart and i'm at 647 after the said CPU SSD and Motherboard and picking out a cheap PSU

No case, No RAM yet (unless he can get these in the remaining $3…)

Then EVEN if he did that and got 650, if we add on the $1200 price of one of the 2 brands of the RTX2080 on it.. it is still at 1850…

That's still more than my RTX2080 from techfast with Ryzen5 and with ADDITIONAL 1TB SSD and RAM which I purchased elsewhere (1540 + 300 at 1840 to upgrade to 16GB RAM and extra 1TB SSD storage)

I don't see how is this not a deal

    • +5

The "no name graphics cards" also happens to be an RTX 2080 lol. No offence, but I doubt your system comes anywhere close in terms of graphical power compared to what is offered in this deal, which certain people need. It's just stupid to call this a bad deal…

      • Mm, 2080s are 2080s. The only thing that differs significantly enough to screw up the card is the cooler

    • +2

Based on stock - as per Lukes comment - the card will likely be a gigabyte windforce card (resulting in $250~ left for the build, that's the CPU + RAM), or the MSI ventus model (that's about $150 left for the build, just the CPU).

Not sure how $250 + $200 + $200 is an equal comparison though? You'd be comparing a system that'll cost over $2,000 to one that costs the price of 2 - 3 of the components. Of course if you're someone building yourself and looking for optimal performance, and willing to pay the premium, it's illogical to buy this. But it's not a bad buy for people just looking for good 1440p - 4k performance.

I'd not necessarily buy this one, an r5 should be much better for that, but seemingly the only difference is the loss of. 2 cores and multithreading

    Anything with a RTX2080Ti ?

    • +1

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ryzen-TR-1920X-RTX-2080Ti-11GB-2…

With the 20% off it's about $2500 or so.
Much better spec over all comp too. Dunno if thats in your price range though.

Otherwise buy this deal, sell the 2080 separately and use that cash for the ti.

      • +1

20% off is capped at $300 so that machine linked would be $2848 unfortunately

        • Ahh, true that thanks for the correction.

  • Fantastic deal Luke. If I'd waited two months id have considered this over my 2070 deal I bought back then.

    Keep up the deals!

  • +1

Have you guys ever thought of selling just the graphic card? Probably would be bombarded with sales if you guys did

  • Great price but CPU/GPU seem mismatched. Should really come with a Ryzen 5 2600 instead. Reckon most people would be willing to spend the extra $100 to have a CPU that can keep up with the GPU..

  • Are you planning to release an intel system with the new i9-9xxxk series?

  • +2

    I believe this was your cheapest RTX 2080 PC, with a R5 2600 to boot! $1279.20: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/426113

Still a good price, can't even build it yourself for less.

  • "I fully acknowledge that we didn't have a good Feb/March but those issues have been resolved"

I sent techfast a message yesterday on ebay asking whether the PC I paid for on 23 February would be shipped today and still haven't heard back. Can you commit to having the PC shipped this week? given it's been over a month already.

    • +2

I sent a message on Monday for my system ordered 10 Feb and was advised that they were "looking at having it shipped out this week". About two weeks ago I was advised that it was pre-built just awaiting the graphics card which was meant to be installed and tested early last week. It seems a few people in this thread who ordered around the same time as yours have just had theirs ship. Very much hoping ours will too!

  • Hi Luke, I am after a Ryzen 7 with RTX 2080 TI. Cant see anything in your store.

  • +1

Look I made an account just to say this, techfast are legit. The communication is also great.
but the wait times are really really not acceptable
I ordered a build Feb 05 got the unit yesterday the 25 March.
Thats not ok regardless of how good the "deal" is.

  • When can i expect my build (ryzen 5 2600 rx580). Ordered on 8 March.

    • That wait time is unacceptable imo

    • I'm also waiting for the same build ordered on the 7th of March. Luke did say they will ship it out this week. They provided a shipment number more than one week ago that says planned shipment date is today. Hopefully that's happening today.

      • We'll be into March by the end of this week, but not sure we'll be quite to 7th. PM me and I'll see exactly where it's at for you.

        • Are you going to be compensating the orders past their delivery dates?

  • +1

Amazing GPU with a shit CPU?

    • Yeah I don't get it either. Cant think of any reason why someone would want a Ryzen 3 2300X with a RTX 2080. Should be at least a Ryzen 5 2500X. When Anandtech did a comparison, the 2500X was typically 10-20% higher average fps than the 2300X when not bottlenecked by the GPU: https://www.anandtech.com/show/13945/the-amd-ryzen-5-2500x-a…

Check out their poor user reviews on ebay:

    https://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&…

19 bad feedback within a month vs 74 good. That's a really poor ratio.

Most people complain about waiting a month for orders and shit customer service.

STAY CLEAR. You have been warned.

    • +2

I'd say the bad feedback was because of high expectations on delivery time. People should now be well aware (on this thread) they will be waiting for a month for the build. If i had the money i would buy it and rip out the gpu for a different build and put a gpu in this which is more fitting ie a 570/580. But u end up with 2 pc's which might not work for some.

      • +1

Well then they're breaking the Ebay TOS as a seller. On the listing page it states:

Estimated between Thu. 4 Apr. and Mon. 8 Apr for delivery

        • +1

Agree about misleading delivery time. Even for unassembled parts. If it's going to take a month put that in the description so people are aware, if they need their system by a certain time.

  • Mine still hasn't shipped and you guys haven't responded to my message on ebay. Can you confirm final delivery date?

    • Hi, I'll need your ebay username or first and surname to look it up. Can you either post here or PM?

  • The wait is lonooonnnggg, but the price is not bad… its up to you guys.

  • -3

Step right up, get yer trash rigs folks.

  • Hi luke,
would you be able to look up my order from 25th feb.
new account so can't pm you

    Thanks!

    • What's the username or first and surname? A lot of 25th orders shipped today and more tomorrow

      • Hi Luke - what about orders from earlier? Mine is from 10 Feb and on Monday was told it'd likely ship this week but tracking is still showing as 'ready for pickup'. If you could look into it or provide an explanation that'd be great. Thanks.

        • There shouldn't be any from there still here. What's the username or order first and surname and I'll get it sorted.

      • Name is Sandeep Bista
        email: [email protected]

        • Thanks. It will ship this week for you mate.

          • @luketechfast: Do you mean by today??

            • @SunnyBro331: It's testing now. Not sure it will have enough time to pass before dispatch which is in half an hour, but it is guaranteed to go Monday for you.

              • @luketechfast: Are you going to be compensating the orders past their delivery dates?

                • @User50301: If you've been affected please let me know via PM and I can look for you, as many people have already done on here.

It does read here as though you're trying for a blanket compensation statement from me, which I'm not going to give. We are doing our best to update customers and treat each case individually.

                  • @luketechfast: Appreciate your willingness to help but the onus is really on you and the company to contact outstanding order customers first and not the other way around with them having to chase up and contact you to ask about the delays.

                    • @User50301: Definitely don't disagree. I am committed to reaching that point and we are doing our best to get there.
