    What kind of gangs?

  • +1

    gang gang

  • Looks like it's the whole switch, and not just the faceplate.

Good if you have the sudden urge to install a cr*pload of new lights.

  • I have 2 gang switch? Can i use four gang to replace?

    • A standard 2-gang HPM switch is cheaper:
      https://www.bunnings.com.au/hpm-excel-2-gang-wall-switch_p70…

But if you really want to use a four-gang, the answer is "probably".

You can buy wall plate insert blanks at electrical suppliers for other brands, perhaps ring your local suppliers and ask if they have them for HPM? The hole in the plates differs between brands, a different-brand insert blank won't look right.

Here's a pic of what inserts look like, you can just pop two switches out and clip the inserts in:

I did this (four-way wall plate with two switches and two inserts) when I needed a two-switch light switch with the switches side-by-side, on a vertical plate (concrete wall, couldn't change the orientation of the plate). That switch was Clipsal brand.

      • Thanks mate

  • you just ended lil pump's career

  • Ask the bunnings attendant how to install it for a laugh

s1, they would say do this, this, and that, then you pretend as smart ass and completely understood then walk away scratching your head lol
s2, what? you dun know? call an electrician mate, it is illegal blah blah

  • Isn't the $32.60 regular price a rip off for something like this? You can buy a no name brand one on ebay for less than $7.

    • that would not be aus or nz standard approved. beware of that
