I got it but had to ring twice chasing it up and they made out like I didn't save the offer when it was saved on my account and just didn't activate for some reason when made the purchase. Only got one email about the $50 back.
@Mr RS: Good to know, I unfortunately only had the $50 offer saved but didn't receive a confirmation email from amex advising I'd met the purchase criteria for the cashback like I have in the past…sounds like I'll also need to follow up.
Has anyone had their unit delivered, if so did you receive a phone call prior or were advised when the delivery would be made?
@BillyStm: getting mine on friday. got a call from DHL Supply Chain to arrange a time/date on tuesday.
@FarQ: Thanks for the response, I received mine today (ACT).
I sent an email to DHL last night asking for a courtesy call 30 mins prior to delivery so I could ensure I was home to receive it.
It was sub contracted to another courier but he did make the call with DHL also emailing to advised they'd advised the courier of that requirement so that may assist others to not sit around all day waiting.
Guessing the EFTPOS cards come later?
Update: I didn't get the $150 cashback email but it ended up being credited to my account without me contacting AMEX so I got the $200 total cashback :).
Furthermore, my order is currently in transit with DHL with estimated delivery for tomorrow.
Now, next step is to contact Shopback for my 2% cashback which did not register, LOL.
i got both cash backs from amex, and the 2% cashback from shopback. but order is still in the processing stage with sony. how long did it take for others for the item to get shipped.
Got shipping email last week on TV ordered and still saying hasn’t even been picked up yet…
Shopback tracked at $79.98. Weird. Highly doubt it will get paid out lol
Took less than a day, DHL is saying it got picked up so fingers crossed for delivery this week
I got the tracking number as well this morning. It's saying delivery estimated by tomorrow but I know DHL delivery estimate is not to be relied upon.

55 OLED. Had it delivered to my parents place so will have to pick it up tomorrow. Unfortunately was there with our second car which is a small sedan so couldn't bring it home.
It is a great looking TV, HDR looks awesome, requires some tuning to personal taste
Tried the 55 AF8 over the weekend, albeit only FTA tv and some YouTube content. So far, I honestly didn't find it to be significantly better than my Sony 65" x9000e. Nothing that was immediately obvious anyway.
Still a good quality and all that but will see how it compares with better sources.
FTA and YouTube probably not the best utilization. Might want to try Netflix or a UHD Blyray

Wouldn't be able to watch Netflix in 4k anyway as my internet is too slow for that.
