@thriftking69: Yeah I received tracking yesterday at 1:11PM stating it had been shipped along with a confirmation email and tracking link but on the link it still states "shipment created" at that time and hasnt updated from then. Although estimated delivery is today apparently… So I have a friend waiting at home. Will be a bit disappointed if our time is wasted.

@portraitly: Not an issue for me - I don't really need to use the software much. Pretty much all of the use the TV gets is either gaming / watching BluRay on the PS4 or watching Netflix which has a dedicated button on the remote so no need to go through the menus to find it. Only time I've really needed to delve into the UI is when I want to watch Stan and need to go find the app for that. It would be nice if the remote gave you a few customisable buttons that you could use as shortcuts to apps of your choice, but I can live with it.
@AngusD: How about the TV reboots multiple times when you want to watch or play? That's exactly what happened to my TV and I have asked for a refund.

Nope they're brand new. 'Box damaged' in the listing but . If you read the comments in the deal listed here you'll see people received TV's without any box damage. Mine had none.
Just checked - "AS NEW: This item may have damaged carton. It is an unused & undamaged item in its original packaging." Great price, my only concern would be the extent of the carton damage and how the TV had been handled in order for the carton damage to occur. But then the same listing also lists the TV condition as "refurbished".

No, they don't.
Sony are adding AirPlay 2 to some (but not all) of their new models for 2019 (ie the XXXXG models), but the ones on offer here are the 2018 (XXXXF) models. They have Android TV with Chromecast built-in, but not AirPlay.

I wouldn't mind buying the 49". I just don't know where I would put it.
Plus the legs are wide apart which means you need a long enough table for it. If it was one big leg in the middle, you could fit it on a narrower cabinet.

Not sure if anyone’s already mentioned it but it’s probably cheaper for the 65” on the Sony eBay store $3099 with the 20% off code which brings it down to $2799 which the same as if you had the $50 and $150 off Amex. Only difference is it says box damaged which usually comes in perfect condition - new in a box.
