  Hey, Mine arrived today. I love it but when I connect it to my mac, I can't get it above 1080p resolution? Ive tried a heap of apps and nothing works. Any ideas?

    Think its my displaylink adapter. Some reason won't allow the mac to go past 1080p but with windows it works fine. Ill sort it.

    Would probably need more information, but let's start with the simplest - which cable are you using, and which Mac are you connecting to?

    You would probably need to connect with the Display Port cable, depending on the Mac you might not be able to do more than 1080p out through HDMI (could be wrong).

    Start with the the DisplayPort, then cycle through the display settings in System Preferences, and also finally on the monitor itself.

  Hi rep,

  I've been having issues with the volume control popping up on my screen everytime I turn on my monitor. It often takes a few clicks on the side of the monitor(monitor control buttons) to get rid of it but it's getting a bit annoying as it happens everytime I turn on my computer.

  Any ideas?
