  • There are other sellers on eBay selling similar products however some of them use unbranded, cheap parts. You can spot these out if the seller does not mention the brand name or the parts used has unfamiliar brand names.

And you don't mention the brand of graphics card and psu in the description??

    • +3

For the RTX 2070 and 2080 we use the MSI Armor at the moment, once we run out of them we will use Galax and Gigabyte and the Power Supply is the Cougar STE500.

Please read description carefully, it clearly states we use brands such as ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock, Corsair, MSI, CoolerMaster, Galax.

In the specification we mention the brands we use for Motherboard, RAM and HDD.

It all depends on which brand we have in stock at the time, but if you prefer one over the other all you have to do is ask and we can accommodate that for you.

        Galax are crap.

    • Bought mine with some upgrades and picked it up in Brisbane, the brands are great, temps are fine while overclocked, this guy is the real deal.
      Get around it

    • +1

Yes we can only send you the parts and you can build it yourself.

Just message us and let us know after you have placed the order that you want it sent unassembled.

      • Cool, thanks for the quick response!

  • 120Gb SSDs are just too small.

    • Please see the description for upgrade options.

You have options to either upgrade the 120GB SSD to a larger 240GB, 480GB, 1TB, 2TB SSD or you also have the option to add a 1TB, 2TB, 3TB, 4TB HDD as a secondary drive.

You can customize the specs that best suits your needs.

    What’s your regular price?

  • A320 motherboard on $2,000 build… Techfast uses B350M.
    Only 500w PSU…
120/240GB SSD as default when SSD price is falling so hard right now?
2666Mhz RAM for Ryzen? Even RAM price is cheap now. 3000Mhz at least.
    Ryzen 5 2600 instead of Ryzen 7 2700.

THB I would rather get cheap Techfast and swap out components, because the above components would get swapped out ASAP on $2,000+ build anyway.

Talking about the Ryzen RTX 2080 build.

    Now th Intel one:
H310M mobo, whut? Even the i7-8700 is very thermal intensive, flimsy H310M mobo might be pushing it. Also lacking 7.1 sound onboard.
Not even CM Hyper 212 cooler? Stock cooler is loud and as per review, insufficient unless it's an office PC. At least throw in a decent aftermarket cooler. Cryorig M9i is $29 FFS.
    8GB RAM…
Same PSU 500W and small default small SSD.

    • These guys may be able to deliver within 2 months though… On the other side all the pics imply these come with windows 10 licences but notice its an upgrade option. Bit of false advertising there if that's the case.

      • +1

No false advertising here mate, at the moment they do come with Windows 10 Home OEM 64 Bit COA Licence but that offer won't last for long.

        • Thanks wasn't sure.

    • +1

Firstly all builds above are below $2000.

If you want to buy cheap brands like BioStar that we found TechFast used and take your chances if it blows up then take your business to them.

We only use Asus, ASRock, MSI or Gigabyte for the motherboard, if you have a preference let us know and we will do that.

If you are really comparing against TechFast you can see they are using 2400Mhz RAM whereas AMD and Intel recommend at least 2666Mhz which all our systems have even the basic $449 system we have has 2666Mhz RAM.

H310M motherboard is as standard but options in the description to upgrade if you want as well as upgrade options for the cooler.

Not everyone has a budget like yours mate, we also keep budget gamers in mind so we price them as low as we can by having H310 as the motherboard chipset and 120GB SSD as standard but options to upgrade if you want.

A good 500W PSU is sufficient to run RTX 2080, please see link below

      https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-20…

As you can see peak power consumption during gaming is 260.79W and the CPU take 65W and lets just say the motherboard, ram and hdd take another 150W so that still under 500W.

We use the Cougar STE500 Power Supply which has a sinlge 12V Rail rather than splitting the 12V Rail which produces 456W which is sufficient for the RTX 2080 consuming 260.79W while heavy gaming.

But as I have said before you have the option in the description to upgrade to a 650W or 750W PSU which will be Thermaltake or Corsair.

We have sold about 43 RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 systems so far this month and not a single problem with any one of them, I mean our eBay feedback speaks for itself.

      • You're leaving the user with a very narrow upgrade path because an unlocked CPU of similar quality would basically double their peak draw there, pushing real world usage to more like 400-450 W depending on the nature of the overclocking involved.

It's a nice enough PSU, but do you offer upgrades for that, which will become much more critical as you sell Zen 2 Ryzen on B series boards?

        EDIT: You do… good!

  • For the 2600 RX 580 build, the title states 8GB (GPU) but description states 4GB. The description also says A320 motherboard but there's a picture of a B350.

    • +2

Yeah sorry about that mate, we are still fixing up a few of the listings we have on eBay, that's why we have not posted those systems on here yet.

Should be all sorted within the next few days and then we will post them here once done.

  • +3

From the responses the rep is giving seems legit and knows what hes talking about.

And doesnt take 2month to deliver.

You guys realise techfast is basically dropshipping parts to you… with a 2month lead time.

  • Do you guys do a 2060 build? With an i5 8th Gen?

    • We have the Intel i5 9th Gen with the RTX 2060

Here is the link for it

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/333136631933

      • Damn, that looks like a good deal. I'll definitely come back later when I have the money to spend.
