  How are these mounted?
  Besides pictures of these photoshopped over actual saddle bags there are no mention of how to mount them.

    I think they are liners that go inside the saddlebag because the hard case saddle bag is fixed to the frame. ie: it isn't like a BMW that clips off easily and you can carry it into your hotel room.
