Will anyone ever admit to downloading this app

  • +28

I have nothing against you or the business you rep, but I soooo want to neg you just cos it's Justin bieber!

    • +2

      Forum rules should be changed….

Justin Bieber = Instant Neg, Banning, Trojan Virus Sent, and umm….. PCU blowing up ;)

(still waiting for someone to give this one a + vote though :))

      • +2

It's only when you use the phrase "Justin Bieber needs a bath" that it causes issues.

  • +1

If it is okay with the mods and admin is it possible to make an app and sell it for free that is for OzBargain.

  • -5

Ban please, his selling Justin Bieber crap.

    • +1

is it illegal to sell Justin Bieber stuff.

      • +8

Not sure if its illegal or not but do you have permission to redistribute his content to make a profit?

      • +6

Your company website has very little content and frankly looks like a downloaded template with a bit of text added.

Your logo looks like you cut out a low quality of tigger from winnie the pooh.

You have a few other apps names after other artists, what do they all do? they look like they are just showing twitter search results and RSS feeds. Do you really expect anyone to pay $1 for that? let alone $5?

    • +6

now we know broden family not interested with Justin Bieber's related products,so Justin Bieber fans can just take a deep breath. THERE WILL STILL BE STOCKS FOR YOU GUYS!

    • lol I was just joking… didn't think anyone would take it seriously…

but yeah there will be plenty Justin Bieber stuff left for you jasecs :)

  • +6

Grow up people - move on. All you are doing is making judgments based on personal preferences. Its not YOUR bloodly job to censor what some people like.

And I am not into Bieber music, if you aren't what the hell are you doing here reading this

  • +27

Isn't this just spam? To celebrate the birth of our company, we are discounting our app. WAS $4.99 NOW $0.99. But it was never $4.99, you only just introduced the app. By that logic I can introduce a new product X at say $10 and advertise it as "To celebrate the introduction of our great product we are offering it for $10 instead of $50!" when it was never sold at $50.

    • +4

Now a sensible neg post to a beiber post… how unusual.

    • +2

You do have a point but then you can say it's an introductory offer, and once that honeymoon period is over it goes back up to $4.99. It's nothing different to than say a pre-order offer or just considering it to be a good price for something. The bargain here isn't that it's cheaper than before it's whether it's a good price or not.

      • +3

But aren't introductory prices just marketing gimmicks as well? Hey the introductory price is $10, don't worry it's a good deal because we will increase the price… errrr sometime later in the future. But don't worry, we promise we will increase the price! Buy today!

    • Agree, misleading & not a bargain.

        • Oh and neg from me because this is SPAM.

  • +2

Not a bargain. Wouldn't be even it were free.

  • +1

This must be a new low for android app and ozbargain! ; )

  • +3

    Justin Bieber IS spam.

    Spam on my radio.

    Spam in my ears.

    Spam on OzBargain.

    • +5

ah we finally caught some - didn't think it would take this long to catch them. A good way to avoid Bieber is to spend time doing something else like reading our guidelines on negative voting.

      "Spam on my radio."

  • +4

I can be your one guy and u can be my number one girl! Whatever u want i give it to youu! Let me tell u ONE TIME

  • +3

Guys I've worked it out: this app must have been made because all Android users love Justin Bieber.

    • i think simply because android is cheaper to make compare to iphone. but then again android users only pay for the functional apps, not these type of useless ones. im not very sure if anyone will buy to be real honest. Even the Bieber fans should realise that app maker is just making money using Bieber's name not exactly making money for Bieber.

  • +1

Now if they were giving you 99c CREDIT to try the app then maybe…… No actually still not interested :-)

    • +1

$4.99 credit still wouldn't be enough.

yes i would take hostages at the hospital if my child woz gunna die……

    • While most of your post is drivel I can agree that John Q is a badass movie.

  • +2

$4.99 for an app that gives you access to a 17 year olds Twitter feed?

    LOOOL GL GL

    • +2

When you say it like that it doesn't sound as bad. You didn't mention the name afterall.

  • +4

As an iPhone/Android developer myself this kind of thing annoys me. Someone decides "hey there's lots of money in apps" so they make the simple/ripoff apps that they think will make them the most money for the least effort - this kind of crap is flooding the market and is really detrimental to the mobile experience. If you are going to get into the industry I'd much rather see some decent contributions that people might actually use and appreciate, spend time actually planning and developing things, a good app should take months to develop and launch not 5 hours.

    • +4

5 hours? Don't make him look so good. It took him 23 minutes to get from asking permission to make an ozbargain app and posting it as a deal on here (even though it's not a deal).
