Thanks! - I was waiting for it to come back down to this price, and was disappointed that it was only 15% off.

For anyone pondering, been using one as a daily watch for 3 months - it's fantastic.

Main uses are Strava for long distance running (it easily handles hours of running between charges), and a lot of google pay and notifications.

I'm actually surprised how Google pay is the feature I use most now, as I never bought it thinking that would be key for me.

    • That's what I mainly want it for, Strava and HR monitoring!

    • Do you use an iPhone and how does it go with iOS?

No deal on S2 or E2 for a while !

    • Amazon have had some really cheap pricing on those models.

Just checked Amazon Au and camel x 3.
The prices for C2 & E2 & S2 are same on Amazon as on Mobvoi site.
Also camel x 3 shows no changes to price previously.

Keep an eye on Amazon AU. This is the normal discount price they have for local stock as well. Kogan also had it for this price, and there is also a Melbourne seller on ebay.

    • Might be worth considering, given the shipping time from Mobvoi is 7-10 business days :/

  • I'm going to wait around a year for more WearOS watches with the new chipset to come out. The previous chip was from around 2015 I believe, so the 2018-19 chip is going to be a lot faster, and be more power efficient

    • Also keep an eye out for Googles watch which is also in development

  • I have had this watch and used it for a month with iPhone. After a month the watch stopped charging and had to return it. I have bought Samsung Gear S3 since then and still using it with iPhone. I find Gear S3 much better than Ticwatch, both build quality and functionality wise. Battery life and interface speed is also better on Gear S3. Ticwatch didn't allow calls when linked to iPhone which Gear S3 does. Understand that Ticwatch being WearOS device supports more apps, but who would want to play games or use apps on watch when you would generally have your phone within reach. I found that bit of a gimmick. Plus, Mobvoi support, expect 1-2 business days delay in response (i repeat, a response, not a resolution!) should you need to raise a ticket with them.

    • Ive been using Huawei for few weeks now and used Huawei Smart GT and now Galaxy Watch. My biggest gripe is not being able to use my Apple Watch anymore. Even a gen 1 Apple Watch I wouldn't mind. If you're iPhone user you're lucky in this regard bcos Apple Watch is still the best smartwatch out there imo, both in feature and design

      • How's the Huawei go?

        • Its a great phone. I just still prefer iOS and the apps there. I noticed some apps in Android (eg. dayone) are not as developed as the iOS. Plus Huawei has lots of its own apps that while is great its not capable for syncing to non Huawei device eg. Had to use google calendar, google keep to be able to access it on desktop or non Huawei devices

  • Purchased - thanks! Note that it's 25% off the "standard" price of $369 on Mobvoi's website, but it's actually $314 on Amazon (still sold by Mobvoi-AU, fulfilled by Amazon). So you're not getting 25% off the ordinary price on Amazon, but it's still a good deal I think.

    • That's not the 'ordinary' price on Amazon. That's 15% off to match the price offered directly on the Mobvoi site.
