The enhanced version was released in the last 6 hours.
Enhanced was released yesterday. No, this is not a sale. It is the standard price.
Enhanced was given away for free to all GOTY owners in the early hours of yesterday morning. This happened automatically without any user interaction.
what did they even add?
nothing of substantial substance. Gaming industry is in a wreck. instead of making new good games, they refurbish old good games and charge these high prices.

If you actually done any reserarch before posting this, you would understand that this remaster wasn't done by gearbox, but a third party…. meaning this doesnt effect the new game at all.
Visual enhancements, 4K support and more guns.
Better graphics (AA, Ambient Occlusion, Dynamic Shadows, 4K Textures and assets), loads of quality of life improvements from the 2nd game (Golden keys chest, auto money pickup, more guns, etc) and they reworked the final boss fight.

You cannot buy the keys, they get distributed as codes from Gearbox.

The golden key chests give you good quality gear, but it's certainly not the best in the game.
nah you get 75 free keys if you have a save for the other borderlands games.
More things added:
Character customisation (heads, colours)
FOV slider (up to 120)
Buy max ammo option at vending machines
Redesigned HUD, UI and inventory (Now same as Borderlands 2)
Minimap (Not sure if this is new?)
Audio seems better (Maybe just me?)
Better gun management (Set favourites etc.)

If you have the original game you get the upgrade free.
Apparently its $7.50 on cdkeys for the original borderlands, which will give you the enchanced. I can't check as I am at work and heaps of sites are blocked.
So is it true if I buy a cheap Borderlands 1 key, and redeem it, i automatically received the new enhanced GOTY free?
I didn't even know I had boarderlands in my steam library.
