[WA] DJI Mavic Air (Flame Red) + 2x Battery + Carrying Case $1188 @ D1 Store (Westfield Carousel)

190

Was walking past the DJI store and saw they had a special on red mavic air flymore combos, they told me they had an oversupply of red mavic air drones and as a result were heavily discounting NEW red mavic air flymore combos.

This is a pretty great deal at $1188 considering they're listed around $1599 (JB HIFI) at other places.

Mod Note: Update deal to remove reference to 'Fly More Combo'

I don't think it's the proper fly more combo that all come In one box, with 3 batteries, a charging hub that can charge 4 batteries, a bag for drone and one for all the accessories, 4 propeller guards, 8 propellers, but it's still really good deal tho, good find mate

They told me it was, i'm not well versed in the drone/DJI world so i could be wrong.

However it did appear to come with everything listed under the JB HIFI mavic air flymore combo:
3 batteries, case, prop guards, smaller protective case, larger case for storage, battery pack, props

      • it's a a bargain either way good find

they told me they had an oversupply of red mavic air drones and as a result were heavily discounting

or, licences will soon be required, so they are discounting because demand is decreasing.

    • Exactly the reason I offloaded mine. Got $1080 second hand. I'm just flying mini kwads sub 250g now with Runcam splits and caddx turtles. (profanity) casa and their registration bullshit and airspace commercialization.

It’s getting harder and harder just to get your drones out and fly without people starring at you . Also , lot less limited air space allowed for you to fly unless you fly a tello . In WA , you are not allowed to fly in any national park due to fire danger .

I have been wanting a drone for ages, but have a feeling that once the feeling of playing with a new toy subsides it will end up in the cupboard never to be used. Or put on Ebay and have to be sold for half the price I paid for it. Sounds like a good deal anyway. You can't really fly these things in built up areas or around where a lot of people. Great if you live in the middle of nowhere.

  • Crap how do I get that price in Sydney?

    • Maybe try to call the store and mention you have a friend who bought that and if they can match.

      • Thanks

What if they ask you to prove you have a friend?

        • Show the receipt.

          • @Femelo:

            Show the receipt.

Do you ask for receipts when you make friends?

    • sure, they can do this price at the World Square store in Sydney

  • Got it wrong. I actually want a Fly more combo package

    • It's actually as good or better then the fly more. I have the fly more combo, and the only difference is that u get a charging hub that can connect to 4 battery's but only charge one at a time, so not really much better then the normal charger that would do the same but u will have to connect each of them after they fully charged, but with this kit u get a much much better safer case to hold everything in it, I would swap my fly more for this. But I did buy my fly more combo for 1134 dollars at officeworks
