been researching these new RTX options as an upgrade to a 970.

The 2060's don't have the virtuallink type-c like the 2070/2080. Will this be an issue with future VR headsets?

    • No. If future vr headsets solely aimed at just that type of connector, they would sell even more poorly than vr is currently selling. Unless there is a major change or development in vr, it may die out soon so new headsets will be trying to be as inclusive as possible

    • The FE 2060 does have Virtuallink off the top of my head.

    • I bought one as an upgrade to my 970, I'm happy with it. But not blown away…

      • which model did you go for and which games do you normally play?

        • I went for the MSI one during one of the 20% eBay promotions. I'm quite eclectic in what I play, my most recently played (with the new card) are Jurassic Park Evolution, Black Ops 4 and Metro Exodus (got it free with the card), I've also been enjoying some older games at beautiful high framerates e.g. Bioshock Infinite and Splinter Cell Blacklist

  • How does this Inno3D model compare with other rtx 2060 models?

    • Solid card, but a small cut below ASUS/Giga/MSI/EVGA I reckon.

  • Price is $549 now
