    I bought a used one with the remote for $10 from facebook marketplace (as I wan't going to pay full price seeing as how it might be a gimmick).

    It's surprisingly ok to watch normal movies on, sort of a floating cinema screen, much better than just holding a phone in my hand, the 3d movies need to be pretty hi-res but look, again, 'ok'.

    There are a tonne of options for the type of 3d, steroscopic, 180, 360, depending on how it's been filmed. the only ones I watch were a trial 180 one and a 360 one, and they looked fine in high res, but my internet is slow so they kept buffering!

    Had a go at a shooting game on it using the controller as well, that was ok too.

    Wouldn't pay full price for one, but works OK for me, and for $10, who cares!

  I have one that I only used once. Was going to check it out again but I sold my S8 already now it's useless.

  The reason I didn't use it is because I would have needed to take the phone out of the case to put it in and I couldn't be bothered doing that. It was fun while I used it.
