    Red switches are the best,
FYI to see if that's a bargain:

In a Chinese website, they sell it at $1,299, which is $272 AUD.

    • Red switches are the best

      Subjective.

      In a Chinese website

      Which one?

they sell it at $1,299, which is $272 AUD.

      No, $1299 is $1299. $272 is $272.

      • Mate, obviously he meant $1299 in Chinese yuan. While I don’t agree with what he said anyone with common sense could piece together what he meant.

Tag this with gaming please.. people wouldn't be browsing computing for a gaming keyboard..

  • Is this a good deal? Or is the RRP just ridiculous and u can pick these up for $150-$200 often? Don't know much about keyboards but I need a new keyboard. Don't care about the black ops stuff. I do game but not much..

    • Got the razer one a few days ago for $50.

this is a pretty good deal if you're set on getting these in the first place. pretty good build quality and software suite. IMO corsair's flagships have them beat on both fronts, but they're also priced similarly and also rarely ever get deals.

Pretty average price if you're just looking to get any RGB mech KB with non-crap software. I like CM's line-up for no-frills quality, price, and availability.

      • Corsair KB is good… if it lasts more than 2 years. My K65 RGB lasted only a year and a half, with batches of dead lights (use it for a backlight KB purposes).

        • Known issue. They fixed up their faulty backlights.

I purchased a Strix Flare but with brown switches and am absolutely very happy with it. I also use the das keyboard at home. The Strix Flare has a few clever features and the RGB actually is pleasant instead of overdone. I am a fan of the left-handed sound controls as it keeps the right hand on the mouse. I would buy a second one if it wasn't adorned with COD on the wrist-rest. I do still play COD (when I can get a match on PC).

Thanks OP, I've been looking for a new keyboard.

  • any decent gaming keyboard, that uhh… doesn't look like a gaming keyboard?
Nice clean lines, simple aesthetic, no RGB would be good.

  • Just get a SteelSeries 6gv2 - Cherry MX Red. Thank me after 5 years.

    • That's been discontinued for a long time.

      • unfortunately yes, but there are some retail stores that still has old stocks. IMO, its the best non-RGB "mainstream gaming keyboard"
