What is this used for? Can i use this to paint my house inside?

    • Yes, but you will need good ventilation and you will need to cover every inch of the room that you don't want to get paint on with plastic.

    • I believe you attach it to an air compressor and use it to spray paint or stain. Some paints/stains don't come out well when sprayed though so look out for that.

    • Don't even try.

      • What do you mean?

Have some external deck oiling and fence painting to do.

Was hoping something like this with one of the compressors also on sale might make the task a lot less laborious, compared to paint brushes or rollers.

Are you saying that this sort of setup is not up to the task?

        • Deck oiling with a spray gun? Never seen that as an option on deck oils. Also for fence painting the low pressure high volume stuff works better. I'd never use this spray gun inside of a lived house.

    • i think an airless sprayer might be better for painting the house

  • Can I use it to spray tan my body?

Warehouse prices my arse. So why isn't the price under $20 every week you monopolizing scumbags!! Please everyone consider supporting Aldi out of principal, they are the last semi-competitor to Bunnings standing.

Support an locally owned and independent hardware company like Mitre10 or Home timber and hardware, Aldi is just taking your money straight back to Germany.

    • +2

The majority of products in Aldi are Australian produced. Hell, probably more than most of our locally owned stores. The brand name be German, and they are getting some money, but we're benefiting more from Aldi.

Aldi must be making a bit of profit on this spray gun, so just shows the excessive profit Bunnings usually makes on most of their Chinese stock, and exposes the patronising contempt towards us shoppers when they can “suddenly” drop the price by almost 67 per cent just to disrupt Aldi’s business model.

Still available at some Aldis, Bunnings scumbags have rejacked their price. I wish someone could compete, hate buying from them but Mitre10 useless in my area.
