The Lotus weighted blanket works just like a cuddle, and can help children feel safe and secure. They can help kids to fall asleep quicker, stay asleep longer, and feel more relaxed at bedtime. They can also be helpful in calming the kids when feeling a bit overwhelmed, or when they just felt like they needed a little bit of calm down time on the couch.

The Children’s 4.5kg Lotus Weighted Blanket measures 100cm x 150cm

It is ideal for children who weigh approx 36kg - 50kg because the ideal weight of your blanket is 10% of your bodyweight, but they are suitable from 5% – 15% of your bodyweight.

A Weighted Blanket is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Please make sure your child can safely remove the blanket themselves before using

Our premium made weighted blanket is carefully filled with glass beads, each sewn into individual compartments which produces a perfectly distributed weighted blanket. The glass beads are completely noise free, allowing for a quiet and peaceful night’s sleep.

The outer blanket is a beautiful , soft and warm Minky Fabric, that also breaths allowing the excess heat out. Perfect for a nice cosy night’s sleep, or just a bit of calm down time on the couch. If preferred, the outer blanket can be changed in warmer weather to a beautiful breathable cotton cover, which can be purchased separately. Alternatively the inner blanket can be used without the cover.

The blankets are machine washable. Wash the blanket and cover separately on a cold wash.

      Yes. The blankets are filled with glass microbeads sewn into individual compartments in the inner blanket.

    What does this mean? Cotton? Poly-cotton blend??

    I see on the lotus blanket website in Canada they advertise cotton covered blankets separately to this minky one.

      The Minky Fabric is a polyester plush commonly used in blankets. We do sell cotton covers separate, but we don’t have them available for the 3.2kg or 4.5kg blankets as yet.
      We are an Australian website and only sell in Australia, so the Canadian website you looked up would most likely have been another company.
