Just wondering why a phone No B28 No NFC called “global” version?

    • good question.

    • Global refers to the software. China devices don't have Google Play Store on them. If they do, then they're global.

The Redmi Note 7's were made with only China and India in mind. At that price point, those markets don't care for NFC, and band 28 isn't used, so they don't bother adding it.

    • As far as B28 is concerned, the lack of it is only an issue with Telstra's network. Which isn't a global issue I'd say.

  • Isnt this 1000 rmb rrp?

Maybe the Umidigi F1 Play is a better choice. NFC and B28. Supposed to be a direct competitor for this model.

    • Impressive specs

  • Still available

I know, I closed it when I noticed it's available for cheaper at TobyDealsAU.

And since only mods can change the 'store', I figured it's better to close it and put a link for the cheaper deal at the top of the description.

  • Can anyone tell me the difference between either of these and the one posted?

Except of course the DX one being 64G not 128G
