[QLD] Pyramid Outdoor Flame Heater $109 @ Bunnings, Hervey Bay

230

This guy was $699 last year, and recently got reduced to $349.

Went into my local store today and noticed about 20-30 of these things marked down to $120. https://i.imgur.com/G2BhSOP.jpg

So I bought one but on scanning it came through at $109. (pic of receipt) https://i.imgur.com/ICWSME1.jpg

Hopefully this is available at other stores, about 20-30 left at Hervey Bay

  • Hope they have it anywhere down here in Sydney

    • Not as cold in Hervey Bay to really need one

  • 2.26m high and 15sqm heating? Would be overkill for my patio I think but damn that's a markdown

Showing stock at my local tho hmm

Now come on. Be honest. Hands up if you carefully studied the unrelated items from the receipt he posted.

      LOL!

hehe. But seriously bro, look at the condition of that receipt. What's the first thing you do when you get one? Chew it?

        • Difficult for a bro to grasp with long nails

        • It’s been rainy in Hervey Bay, so those are drops of rain on the receipt. Not hard to work out.

  • Jack/Jacklyn of all trades with that list of items on the receipt.

  • Are these types of heaters any good? I have used the ones that are gas with the heating element at the top and always found I had to stand directly under or with my arms up to really get any benefit.

So pretty much will this actually heat a outside under a shelter?

    • Just like any gas heater really

    • A lot more efficient than a wood fire. Like a wood fire the main benefit is ambience. These are fascinating to watch.

If it's cold. Go inside. Waste of energy and terrible for the environment.

    • This has got the Al Gore tick of approval.

    • So use a gas heater inside, instead of this gas heater?

I'm with this guy! What benefit has warmth and fire ever done for mankind?

      • +1

As opposed to clothes and shelter?

      • Agree far better to go inside, crank up the heaters and sit on your arse watching tv. Leave all the outdoors to the hippies.

Wonder if tou can roast a marshmallow with this.

    • Go inside and turn on a/c

  • Great deal, these heaters look great and provide warmth at a lower level than the tall ones. I do agree though its only useful if you entertain a lot outdoors in the winter, which limits its usefulness. I ended up buying 2 electric ones from Kmart for under 80 bucks, they arent as nice but dont need a gas tank and no need to refill, and probably safer if you have kids around.

  • Will be firepit season soon

  • Out of stock at all my close bunnings so looks discontinued maybe

  • Would be awesome if my local Bunnings would price match, highly doubt it.
Anyone know if these can be converted to NG

  • Local is out of stock, would like to know if this is a single store special before I go for a drive.

  • I called my local and he said it was showing on his iPod as being $349 still.
I then called Hervey Bay and he said they had only the display model in stock unit was showing at $349.

If anyone manages to get one for $109, let us know.

What's the fuel or these? LPG or some type of Kerosene?

    • Just standard BBQ gas

Just collected 2 from West Footscray in Victoria. Found 2 that were stashed. Someone came in just before me and brought all the stock 10+ units. Greedy!! Naughty. Lol They said that they don't price match stores because it could be the last unit or two. I said how many left? He said 2.. So I said, we've got a deal then!? $109 x 2. Also current scanning price is now $199.

    • Well done. Rouse hill would not price match

    • Wow do they price match? Rang my closest store told me they still $349. He said they're more about the look and not the warmth!
