  • Yo guys for the Epson printers, I have an epson printer that looks the same as the 450 but with refiillable cartridge, do you think it would work if I buy An empty cartridge container and just refill it with the 16 per bottle for the 450 printer that looks the same as my one. I have the wf2510

you sure canon and epson use the same cartridge ?

      • +1

        I suspect different chips.

      • No i mean if you google it, wf2510 and ecotank printers are the same except one has a tank of ink. But not sure if the ink is the same though. If it is then high quality ink with cheap prive

  • Still stock at Fountain Gate.

  • I'm surprised that this deal is so popular. I thought hp printers can't get third party ink and the OEM ink is crazy expensive. Is there a printer which is a bargain in the long run?

    • HP and third party ink is messy business. They backpedaled years ago when they release firmware that blocked third party cartridges but seem to always try and squeeze it back in with firmware updates. So it's a lottery if it'll work or not out of the box.

      Laser printers.
The Brother HL1110 used to show up at Officeworks rebranded as Fuji Xerox for $29.

      • I haven't use ink printer at home for last 5 years. Get a Laser printer is better, faster and more reliable.

  • How many pages do the starter Toners last for?

    • ~100 each

  • +2

Just stick with printing most of the stuff at work and the printer use only for emergencies. Then it works out and who cares how many pages you get out of it…

That was exactly my thinking in picking up one.

Just the other decade I was thinking to myself… I wish someone would create a product that could produce amplified sound and printed media. Finally that day has come.

HP are offering cashback on purchases of 2 or more eligible HP inks.
The inks can be purchased from pretty much any shop (doesn't have to be from HP directly)

(HP65 & HP65XL are the ink refills for this printer)

This offer ends on the 30th of April.

Picked up mine today now I'm thinking "why the bloody hell did I buy a printer?".

    • Enjoy the bluetooth speaker. :P

Just the fun of unboxing must be worth a few bucks!! :-)

A bad compromised printer fused with a bad compromised speaker. The ink costs a fortune, but at least I can play my music downstairs while I'm sitting on the upstairs toilet out of earshot! What a bargain!

    Hilarious.

I am happy with both the speaker and the quality of print. For that price it is pretty amazing. But then again I am a modest person, people with very high standards should not go for a $24 printer.

    • +1

The speaker sounds good to me (a lot better than expected), happy to pay $24 for that function alone, printing ~100 pages is an added bonus.

      • -8

Good to enjoy what ypu already bought. But I would rather spend $35 on a speaker with aux in that is nice and portable plus a decent chunk of change on a printer with a CISS because I'll save plenty by the time I print 300 pages or so. Printer ink is more expensive than almost any other liquid when sold in small catridges.

Yeah that deserved note one but 3 downvotes. Muppets. Utter muppets.

  • Hi All, Can anyone please help me with the wireless set up. The instructions in the manual that came along are pretty generic and I am not even able to configure the printer to connect to wifi. Thanks very much.

    • I am also unable to connect with wi fi network… can anyone help please ?

    • You can set up the wireless connection through the "HP Smart" app.

  • Ours seems to have run out of ink after printing only two A4 photos. Is this to be expected?

    • +1

Yep, ink lifespan estimates is based on maybe 5% coverage on Eco mode. Very misleading compared to real world usage.
