Update: Code updated.

All fixed now.

Just for fun. If anyone actually owns / buys a pair of Audeze’s let me know how
‘Toccata and Fugue in A minor, after Bach BWV 565 by Pavlo Beznosiuk’ sounds on them.
I would recommend the 96khz version from the ‘24-bits of Christmas’ free to download Xmas release.

Starting with the biggest (savings):

Not a deal Audeze LCD-4Z $5499 ( - $300)
Not a deal Audeze LCD-MX4 $3998 ( - $300)
Audeze LCD-3 $2499 ( - $300)
Audeze LCD-X without travel case version $1399 ( - $300)
Audeze LCD-2 $1119.20 ( - $279.80)
Audeze LCD-2C $799.20 ( - $199.80)

Suggestion by ozbargainer :
Sony IER-Z1R Signature Series In Ear Headphones $2199.95 ( - $300)

Notes: Audeze has a reputation for the best after sale support, so buy with confidence (please do your research on how each individual model sounds).
Each model while similar in design, uses different materials for the headband & construction, which create differences in sound signature and general comfort / weight of the headphones. Also impedance varies quite a bit throughout the range.

    Like ear sex

    • I just edited to include a particular recording. I know your comment was before I included specifics.

You get twice the orgasm when listening to your favourite porn video

    • +1

      Multiple eargasms.

Max discount is $300 FYI, so price in title will be $5499

    • Whoops didn’t read the terms and conditions. It’s not a deal then, at least for the LCD-4, it can be got for $4999.
      Edit: just checked its OOS.
(Although you can be notified when it’s available).

  • If max discount is $300 then only lcdx down is really a deal % wise.

    • Edit: I remembered the discount before cap for LCD-3 being $339, but it’s actually $559. You’re right.
LCD-X and down to get the full 20% off.

Costs 4 times more than many corolla shitbox 😂😂😂

    • +3

True, but how does the Corolla sound?

  • might as well add in Sony IER z1r for same price as Audeze LCD 3 lol

  • Better to wait for the GrapheneQ headphones which should be coming out later this year. From the measurements they've shown, they're a class of their own. My hope is that they can eventually be used to make the first good full range single-way monitor.

    • +5

Wait for an unproven Kickstarter funded product rather than buy a product from one of the most respected names in headphones?

      Uh … OK.

      • -1

Uh, waiting for something isn't committing to buy it, being "kickstarter funded" doesn't invalidate something, especially something like this which is in mass production and has measurements and been shown it off publically. And only a moron would buy $5000 headphones now - for a pathetic $300 discount - when what's likely to be groundbreaking headphone tech is going to come out in 3 months.

I can hardly believe how much stupidity is condensed into your post.

If they noise cancel my wifes nagging (band range 300hz to 3400hz), I'm happy to pay 10 times that

    • -1

      Lool

    • +1

I don't think anyone makes headphones for that type of nagging, mate. Their wives won't allow them.

    • +1

Cancel her and pick a new one?

      • +2

That's likely to cost more than any of these items…

    • -1

Maybe if you did a little around the house she'd stop

Loved my LCD-2s, sound was mind blowing. However the ergonomics were terrible, probably some of the most uncomfortable high end headphones I've ever owned. The design of using wood in planar magnetic headphones which are inherently clunky always confused me

    • They are experimenting with different materials throughout the models.
I think they’ve got the rest quite right, so the main complaint is weight of the headphones (common comfort complaint) and how the different materials affect the sound signature. (Also people wanting them for lower impedance’s for portability)

    • Try the leather strap mod. It takes away the pressure of that hard band that does not really distribute weight that well.

It's just a piece of leather that's shorter than the head band and connects to the pivot hinges. Some people sell ready made.

      • I have also read that certain models have customisable options (probably have to purchase directly from manufacturer).

  • Current Audeze owners with partners, how do you get them to approve buying these? Can you give some pointers? Thanks.

    • +3

      I used lying.

Really bad form, Addicted to Audio have put their eBay store on holiday with 2 days left to run on the code that their store is participating in. Their regular store seems to be running fine so I'm assuming they're just trying to welch on the deal.
