Could've done better considering OW is selling their s9+ for $722 and its brand new.

    • its out of stock. i think they had 1-2 units nationwide if im not wrongg.
Regardless your right the price should and will go down. not sure when though . s9 plus is still in strong demand

Warning these guys sold me an s8 in last deal that was faulty. When I took it go Samsung for warranty they told me that it had been tampered with and made with parts from Australian and overseas model and was void of Australian warranty. Don't be fooled in believing you have Samsung warranty on these "refurbished" devices

Yes your right. The battery was replaced on it with an aftermarket one. Your forgetting to mention that the phone was returned back to us and we honored the warranty.
Only in rare instances we change samsung batteries in house and your phone was one of them. The s9 deal posted here doesnt require new batteries

Your forgetting to mention that my initial emails were ignored and refund only came after PayPal claim and return. You lied in saying it had a Samsung warranty, Samsung inspected the phone and declared it was made of parts from different models and flashed with Australian firmware and was 100% voided of Australian Samsung warranty as you claim it had.

        • Let me break it down for you
          - I do apologise for the phone not being under samsung warranty as advertised
          - The warranty on the phone was however dealt via us and you were refunded once we received the phone back from you
          - You opened the paypal dispute - not sure which emails were ignored but me being personally here on ozb i never received a message from you but on a side note yes it is possible that your emails werent replied to promptly
          - Do you have a written samsung declaration that its made from different models? Did they open it up infront of you and checked or did they took at the back and provided you with a report? Its absolutely technically impossible to put together a phone from different models and flashed with an aussie firmware. When the batteries are replaced, the back glass housing is also replaced with it and it doesnt have the faint inscriptions (such as A tick symbol etc) that the original housing has and thats how samsung refuses warranty on spot when they closely inspect the back housing . This is something that can be easily overlooked when our techs are quality testing devices. Your device was one of them unfortunately

tl;dr You used the phone for a few months, then returned it to us and were refunded in full.

It's hard enough getting warranty from samsung when bought from samsung, its not Apple service.

    • Amen to that! Ridiculous Samsung.
On a water-resistant/proof phone, Samsung says you're USB port is corroded (maybe due to water ingress)! Please pay us $100 to fix your usb, that too within the warranty period. My response was "Not in this life! please return my phone"

How the hell is one meant to interpret their IP68 rating!! It says 1.5 meters to up 30 mins!

      • On my iphone xs max Apple has refused warranty as they have spotted a water indicator inside (behind the sim tray) being "Red" due to coming in contact with moisture/water. The phone wasnt even taken near water and its only 4 months old. Everything works on the phone except the faceid which crashes when your setting it up. Stuck with a $1800 phone

        • Go through Apple Care on phone forget the stores and geniuses. Talk to a supervisor and get a case manager, if what you are saying is true, 100% I would be able to get that replaced for 0$

        • Maybe worth while investing in an Apple care plus…

  • Who pays for return shipping if we arent happy with the condition of the phone?

  • Does these have tax invoice for TRS?

  • Thanks just bought s9+. Bit nervous after reading these concerns but it looks like they will rectify problems. Fingers crossed!
