Is This a Good Value Build?

I'm looking to build a good value pc for some casual gaming and for productivity.
Looking for some feedback on the parts I've chosen so far. I have tried to choose high quality but still good value parts.

Ryzen 5 2600
Msi B450 Tomahawk
Corsair Vengeance 16gb 3000
970 evo plus 500gb nvme ssd
wb blue 1tb
RX580 8gb (brands are mostly the same)
NZXT H500
evga supernova 650 w g3
Acer KG251QF monitor
Should be around $1600 looking at prices on static ice from good sellers.
Any feedback is appreciated
Thanks!

I did look at this however, there are some poor quality parts here as well as there not being a monitor.
I wouldn't trust a pc that has a $1000 gpu and the total cost is $1400, that doesn't seem right.
Also has an old motherboard, slow ram, unbranded psu, only a 128 gb unbranded ssd.
Whilst it is a good value for a 2080ti, I don't think it would be made with good quality parts.

Change the vid card to a GTX 1660 (~$30 bucks more but 10-20% better performance, less wattage, cooler temps). G-Sync will work with that Freesync monitor too.

Change the motherboard to Asrock or Asus. MSI have crap BIOS and support.

Drop the PSU to a Seasonic Focus Gold 550W and save some $$

Cases are very subjective, but I'd recommend the Fractal Design Meshify or Define series cases over the NZXT. Very high quality cases for the same money.

      Thank you for that.
I chose that motherboard as other reviews said that msi had better build quality and power delivery to the cpu as well as better cooling.

      • You won't be overclocking (and there's only minimal benefits from doing so with these chips) so not really a concern.

  • A couple of suggestions I would make… IMHO The PSU is overkill for a entry/mid level build, I'd look for something semi-modular ~>$100 80+ bronze - would take easy $50 off the build
Then use that $50 towards faster ram, AMD's really shine with faster ram although the 3000MHz you've selected would be fine
But TBH you can't beat the deal that @phunkydude has shown you, yes some of the parts aren't as quite high end, but the GPU smashes a RX580 & you could easily add/upgrade this system as you needed in the future (more or bigger HHD's, more/faster ram). The RTX2080 is normally a $1,000+ GPU so the value your getting for this system smashes it in price performance
    Good luck
