I'll wait for the 65" at that price. EOFYS are coming soon.

Will never reach that price, but if we are really lucky, might go sub 1k.

For any experts, what is the hisense model above this one? The nu…?

    • I’ve got the 49” U7100 and am very happy with it.

Kids are happy their PS4 games look better.

Smart functions are basic but do the job. Interface is uncomplicated.

For a device made by Samsung that’s surprising.

      Hope this helps.

I picked up a Sony KD55X8500F a few days ago on the deal below ($985.50), and have been very impressed with the with the Android OS. Features were so easy to setup and it has a very snappy interface.

Shops are still listing it for sale so worth keeping it on your list. A friend who missed out on the Ebay deal bought one last week from HN for $1095.

    • 65" ?

      • Kd55x8500f is out of stock everywhere. Even Sony shop doesn't have stocks and I was very keen on this one as well. Next one will be a lot more expensive which is the x90 55". Roughly $1890 at the moment.

        • The showed out of stock in stores when he ordered his from their online store last week, but after placing the order HN sourced it from Sony and delivered it to him yesterday afternoon (placed order on Monday, received on Friday).

  • Hisense is limited apps. I have the 75P7. Only has Netflix, plex and I think sbs that I might care about, need to pair it with another device. I expect that the LG and others will have more app support. It’s boot up is also slow.
Picture is pretty good, haven’t tried it with a uhd disk to properly test the uhd picture or with sport or anything. Kids like Pokémon on it from Netflix and looks good to me.
