  • Where do you get the card? Says single use only, so unique codes?

    • +6

Generic code, back page of the current catalogue.

Is this valid for sale items?

I just bought a mattress topper which was $102 on sale. Used the barcode as promo code and got $40 off, still paid shipping though. Thanks OP.

    • Online. There’s a bug 🐜

    • -1

Can you post the link please

      • I just went online and used the code under the barcode at checkout in the 'promo code' box.

  • They had some steep discounts on bedding when I was instore last weekend. The 500-1000 thread count (yes I know they are bs numbers) were around the $100 mark for Queen sets.

  • Damn. I just bought a Brother sewing machine last week 😭

    • Sewing machines are excluded in spotlight discounts.

      • Yeah, try Australia Post 🤷🏾‍♂️

    • If only u read the fine print..

Got towels last time, everyone said they are great, they are not that good, doesn’t even absorb water properly, garbage

What I have noticed that when Spotlight have this voucher available, they jack their prices back up to RRP or close to RRP. In the end you get the same amount of discount which you would normally get as well without the voucher. Anyone else had the same observation?

Appears to stack with sale items, even Clearance items that are meant to be excluded.

    • +4

No, not really. I have been “watching” the items I needed over the last few weeks, and the prices are definitely better today (even without the $40 coupon), eg 2 for 1 bed sheets promotion.

    • No, I was there today and bought some fabric at 50% off, some at 30% off, and $50 of baking gear which got me another $10 discount, which stacked with the $40 coupon. I've found spotlight to be really good for combining discounts.

Thanks Op, can confirm it works online. :-)

  • Does anyone know if they have a downloadable pdf of this? They usually do, but I couldn't locate it this time.

They don't put prices up when they have these, and yes, they so stack with specials.

This is the link, you can print it as pdf file.

  • Mrs wanted some curtains. Sent $60. Saved $140 apparently. I showed the above picture and they typed the numbers in to discount. They didn't have any catalogues at the shop.

So good. Saved $90 on purchase of $160, only paid $70 (original price $250) Wow

    Thanks OP

  • Today they have bumped up the prices by $40-50 on pots and pans.

I went to buy a pan yesterday online with this and couldnt get the code to work online.

Tried again this morning (and the code works now) but the two pans I looked at have gone up.

Was $80 yesterday, is $120 today. Tefal Aluminium Jumbo Saute Pan Grey & Black 30 cm
Was $30 yesterday, is $80 today. Saute Hard Anodised Saute Pan Grey 30 cm

They may have had a promotion on kitchenware that finished on Sunday.

    • -1

You missed out on the sale probably didn't have $100 worth of eligible items in your cart

I bought pans on sale and applied the code with no issues over last weekend

I just accidentally found out a flaw in their system, in my favour. When they add the $40 off they apply a portion of it over each item you purchase. We didn't need the $60 (before discount) item we purchased yesterday. So I returned it. I thought they would apply the refund proportional to the price after the $40 was deducted spread across each item. But they didn't. They gave me the full refund before discount applied. So it's $40 of free stuff.

    • Can I say if you returned all items, you'd earn $40 in cash in the process?

  • Anyone know if multiple purchases will work? Ie break up in to multiple $100+ lots each with $40 off? In store preferably to avoid delivery fees each time (different stores or times so the staff don't tweak to it)?

  • All I want is a cheap Cricut, though. THEY KNOW.

    • Many people have had success getting their local Spotlight store to price beat Craft Online for the Cricut Maker. PM me if you need more details
