    Pretty cool. Just checked the WiFi channels around me and there's 4 all overlapping my channel so changed it and so far so good.

        No, but you can change your channel to stop overlapping other networks.

          I'm not. I use one of those xiaomi range extender things cos I live double storey and my Samsung tablet constantly drops connection then when I look at networks there's 5-8 different ones popping up. Wasn't sure if I could block it from finding new networks.and just focus on the range extender. Its a real pain in the ass.

            @Skinnerr: Network name is not same as channels. Your router has access to various channels which it supposed to choose automatically to avoid interference. Some routers and modems do this very well where others don't so you can take charge by using this app to see what others router channels are and set yours to be different from theirs. There is no guarantee that others will not change due to some reason so you may have to check every once in a while or if you start having problems.

      If we are talking about the 2.4Ghz band then just remember there's only 3 non overlapping channels (1,6,11). Changing the channel to any thing other than those is going to cause adjacent channel interference which is worse than co channel interference.

    Low numbers
    Website is only in Albanian (nothing wrong with that, but good luck on support)
    Has kali logo on developer page….sure it's used for good but …

    1. Offer free app
    2. get app on lots of devices
    3. lack of updates for android devices
    4. phones like wallets now
    5. zero day -> root (hell might just be after users with root enabled right now)
    6. Profit

    I've been using the non-pro version of this for a while now and it's very useful. It's helped diagnose quite a few network related problems at client sites.
