I don't recommend this…I bought the highest edition which was something $200+ and is one of my biggest regretful purchases ever. The game had a insane amount of hype but shady russian devs and questionable progress on the game has made myself and a lot of my mates put this on hold.

Read some reviews and watch some youtubers to get an idea as to where the game is at.

    • would appreciate any links to reviews you are referring to. I had only good experience so far and was going to upgrade to the highest edition as I'm really enjoying the game.

the game is in closed beta already and it is quite playable as it is.

price tag is beefy, agree on that one. Happy to support independent devs though.

Eroktic is a well-known EFT content creator and was hit with some over 47 DMCA for videos regarding the development of the game. You'll find other stories of the EFT dev's actions in the past…

It's a great niche game and was exactly the type of experience I was looking for…but the Unity engine is absolutely trash and the decision to build a game of this nature on it was a huge mistake.

        • I agree, it was a dick move from their management side. Nevertheless, the game did its job - can't play bf5 anymore due to lack of thrill. Tarkov does a really good job at releasing adrenaline, heart is literally pumping, maybe it is just a honey moon and novelty though.

    • Why did you + the deal if you don't recommend it?

      • I dont know…it's a good deal in regards to the savings and those who are into hardcore type shooters will enjoy this for at least 100+ hours. I however wouldn't recommend buying the higher tier packs as there are some serious questions over the development timeiline of this game.

  • I've been wanting to try this game since it came out and never got around to it.
Is the game in a good state at the moment ?

    • It still has some stutters and it needs a decent right to get over 60fps consistently.

There is an insane amount of weapon customisation, loadouts, and meta to learn.

I have 450+ hrs over 3 wipes and I effin love it. Wouldnt recommend dropping on the EOD version until you have 100hrs and you know you will put 100's more in.

      Cyka blyat.

  • It's actually USD$33.75 + 5.8% surcharge if via CC and + 7.8% surcharge if via Paypal. Add on top another 10% of the total + processing fee (a nice double dip) because of GST (claimed as VAT on their processing screen) and it comes down to a minimum of ~USD$39.28 or ~AUD$56.27. The bullshit surcharges alone made me not want to buy the game.

    • I put the game in my 'shopping cart' once and went to buy it on sale.
Once i navigated the bullshit maze of taxes and surcharges etc.. i bailed out.
It's mind boggling how they decided to do it this way.

  • Price hasnt seem to have drop since release, tried the trial version from a friend and game was stupidly hard to run, rocking rtx 2080, 2600 and 16gb ram. Didnt get much gameplay done as the game kept crashing and jittering, making it unplayable, but my friend loves this game

  • Very good but difficult game. Have spent 500+ hours in 15months. Im giving this wipe a miss because i dont have the time ATM but keen to get back into it.
    Ive playd it on 2 systems 4690K + 1070 and now a 9600K + 2080 and it has run pretty good, 60 - 100fps
