I have been wanting a pair for a while. Really getting into Battlefield V
Got these for my Xbox One X and I am pretty impressed with the sound quality. Quite comfy too although the vinyl cups can get a bit warm on your noggin after a while.
No dramas with the mic either and it is clever that it slides away when you are not using it.
These are quite a good upgrade, make the ear cups a bit larger and longer and keep your ears cooler.

not really much better sound quality to be had even from entry priced cans.

Excellent price for these. My son owns a pair and I bought it for $109. He seems to like it and has no complaints. His are the USB ones though.

Whatever you do, don't splurge more for the surround sound version USB version. They are shockingly bad and the Synapse software blows.
Can anyone recommend a good headset for office use? (to plug into mobile phones to take calls that might last for 30-45min) How would these do? Overkill? Ideally after something that blocks out the voices of others in the office and has a noise cancelling mic.
It has one input for audio and one inout for the microphone, you can use them for listening but you won’t be able to use the mic. I have them in pink. Most gaming headphones are USB connected or dual jacks.
You can buy an adapter on eBay for less than $10 that will take the two jacks down to one for use with mobile phones etc.
