The difference between the Dyson Animal and Torque drive is that the Digital Display Screen Type is LED as opposed to LCD. In addition, the screen doesn't include a run timer when the battery is going to die.

I bought a V10 absolute during ebay plus launch, the battery died after 6 months… Without warranty, the battery cost is $99 I think
Had 2x V6's and batteries both died within 3 months of purchase. Both replaced with a phone call and single email.
