I bought 2 phones from banggood. It was shipped on the 09 Apr and I am still waiting for it arrive.

    • Did you select anything other than the standard postage options at checkout?

      • There was no free shipping, the cheapest option was Registered Mail at around USD$3.
The fastest option is I think DHL at around USD$20.

    • Standard shipping is 7-25 business days so you've still got another week before it's considered delayed.

      What does the tracking show?

      • The tracking stops after it left Hong Kong on the 09 Apr 2019.

        Destination Country: Australia
2019-04-09 16:22 Asendia Hong Kong The consignment has left the origin border point
2019-04-09 15:05 Asendia Hong Kong Arrival at origin border point
2019-04-09 14:28 Asendia Hong Kong Mailed

Do I get my money back if it is outside of the 25 business days?

  • This looks like the best bang for buck mig range phone

Best bang-per-buck mid ranger is US$182-shipped Zenfone 4 SD660 6GB/64GB with B28, NFC, USB-C and better camera. On sale atm:

      SD630/3GB/32GB lower-specced variant starts at US$110-shipped.

      • That one doesn't have bands 4 and 20 which would be not as good if one travels through some parts of North America and Europe?

      • Problem (for me) is the zenfone has no root or community support/aosp roms

Don't think there are any other Mid range with these specs with community support

  • This or Huawei Nova 3e?

    • Cough3ecough..up to u

    • 3e mate

    • +1

The Snapdragon 660 in the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a considerably better chip than the Kirin 659 in the Huawei Nova 3e. (Kirin 659 offers Snapdragon 625 like performance)

The Nova 3e has a 3.5mm headphone jack and Australian warranty if you're buying it locally.

The rest of the specs are fairly similar.

I ordered the mi a2 from Banggood in last deal on April 15, tracking says it is still in Switzerland which was a transit country?? Arrived yesterday and had free case so pretty happy.

  • Great specs for the price… a bigger battery would make it much better.

    • The redmi note 7 has a 4000mAh battery same specs NO band 28 though
      but a 3.5 mm jack

  • +1

This has been a great phone but as stated before, a bigger battery would've been made this an excellent phone…

  • Gearbest also has it at a similar price of US$165+shipping, for those who prefer GB - see https://m.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_009618416255.html.

    • I am seeing USD$189.99 + freight + gst on Gearbest.
