    • If you want a better Monitor stand, go for LG one

By the way, don't ever get something with HDR that has a nits of under 1000. This is 300 cd/m². Which is almost four times lower. HDR will look worse than SDR. Plus it needs lots of local dimming zones.

A monitor with 1000 nits is seriously bright! Only a couple in the world that can actually do it. I've got a TV that can do almost double that but for a monitor you don't need 1000 nits you'll destroy your eyes within a couple months. Local dimming like FALD is more important than having 1000 nits or more for the HDR effect. No OLED can get close to 1000 nits but they still have fantastic HDR capabilities. But I would say you need at least 500 nits and good local dimming as a minimum to get decent HDR.

  • Just ordered this - Cheapest i've seen - not for gaming but for production etc. hope it's good - i'll keep you posted.
