A better price Dyson V7 Animal from Amazon US. Since, this is an international version, you need an US to AU socket adapter.

  1. Most likely it would come with universal voltage power adapter. You just need to get an adapter to sort out the different pin type.
  2. There is not much warranty due to international stock. Only way to make a claim is send the item back to US to get a refund. Beware Amazon wants to charge you for return fee if 3 months return window has passed.
  3. My V7 battery dead after 3 months of use. Not worth the hassle to argue with all parties. In MHO: get a local one for a bit more or less. EOFY is just in the corner.

  V6 Animal Extra AU model is available @ Catch for $368. For those who prefer local stock (AU charger / warranty / ACL protection).

  V6 is older model but has the same amount of suction power as V7 (Both 6 mins @ 100 AW at max mode).
  V7 model lasts longer (30 mins) on normal mode due to lower suction in this mode, V6 only lasts 20 mins on normal mode, but has slightly better suction on this mode compared to V7.

  Only difference I can tell is the bin-emptying mechanism.
  (V6 bottom opens / V7 bottom opens and whole middle part moves up then down to push the contents out)
  Also V6 Animal extra comes with an extra ‘Stubborn dirt brush’ tool.
