Quick otherwise these will be wiped out

Let's not talk crap in this thread

      • Quilton is an Australian made and owned brand, proudly manufactured by ABC Tissue Products from local and imported materials at our high-tech facilities in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.

      • +3

Why won’t you talk to me?

        • Well, we started talking about you, and you looked flushed.

  • Shopback or Cashrewards for this deal? The former says 'up to 12% cashback' and the latter 'up to 10% off', but each has different tiers for different products.

    • Cashrewards for health is 5.6%

      • If this falls under 'Health & Personal Care …' category then Shopback's 7% cashback in that category is better.

If you have a Flybuys card and go to Coles Express to fill up 50L of petrol + purchase $20 in store (namely 2 x 20 roll packs of Quilton toilet paper), you get 10c off per litre of petrol (not including the 4c fuel voucher stack nor the occasional Flybuys 8c off per litre targeted offer).

Per roll, it works out to be 37.5c….which is cheaper than this offer.

My local Shell is usually about 20c per litre more expensive than my local independent or 7-Eleven, so no deal

      • To both of u:

I wish you’d quote Fuel prices
so we can see how costly it is

PS We normally buy 6x Triple-
Length (still 3-ply) rolls for $10

    • My car only has a 44 litre tank. :D

    • Coles fuel is always expensive in whole of NSW if you keep an eye on fuel check official app

      • Coles is dimmer in many ways, eg:

        1. No deliveries in Outback town(s)
          covered by Woolies.

        2. Limits Qty per purchase (Woolies
has limits, but u can get them raised
after your order is entered, ie, before
          you pay for it.)

A business that limits BuyQty’s (way
below Woolies limits) & won’t budge
        like Woolies does… means COLES
        IS CHEATING IT SHARE-HOLDERS,
        IMO!

        1. Orders get lost / cancelled without
explanation or apology - even when
entered & monitored by store mgr.

        2. We buy + enjoy Coles’ bakery’s
7-seed bread, but too often need to
bug them for a $2 “courtesy voucher”
          when it’s out of stock

        3. Despite co. Policy on $2 vouchers
for out of stock vouchers, staff don’t
like to issue them, when they apply.

        They’d prefer to argue - “That’s Not
what these vouchers are meant for”
        In Front of Other Customers(!)
rather than bake more of this more
        Healthy bread!

      • 5c voucher when Geelong wins!

It’s been this price since 28 March?

    +upvote for the epic description.

    • +3

It's just a copy and paste from amazon?

  • +1

    This is a rock-bottom price.

  • -5

Just posted this from BIGW, cheaper and more rolls.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/456376

    • Yeah nah, that's not how this site, or wiping arse for that matter, works!

  • +1

    21.6c per 100 sheets
    or 38c per roll

Aldi still has better value at 18c per 100 sheets if that's what you're into.

    • I reckon the Aldi 3ply is by far the best value if you're paying full price. I don't think the butt-feel and resistance to fingering is in the same league as Quilton, especially at this price.

  • I see only $28.36 for 1 pack. Where is $17.50 one?
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/offer-listing/B07KY6Z67S/ref=ol…

  • that didnt last long…

    • -1

too much crap to wipe off

  • +4

Lightly scented on the core not the tissue so suitable for even the most sensitive skin

    -1

it's not hypoallergenic like Sorbent or Aldi's Confidence :(

  • Still available! Grabbed one, cheers OP!

  • -4

OP got a bum deal. Stock crapped out so soon after posting. Butt this one keeps coming up s-o-ften, so is it really a deal or is it an I T-issue that OzBargain needs to roll with?

    • +3

LOL, negs show that my pun game is weak.

  • More stock is available now, grabbed one.

  • i cannot see too much difference between this and woolworths/coles home brand.

    • +2

It is convenient having it delivered though. People feel better about getting usage out of their Prime membership too. But also, according to above, these are apparently Aussie owned, which I think we can all agree is a big bonus when comparing 2 products of similar price. I wasn't aware of this about Quilton, and I'm now more likely to buy more of their stuff in future.

  • this calls for a sitcky party

  • Quilton 4 ply Shea butter is so much better. Can't best that one

  • Quick question guys. How does Forest sustainable compare with toilet paper made from recycled materials from an environment perspective?

    • +1

I'm guessing it means they plant trees specifically for this purpose and they ensure that the trees they cut down are replaced. Whereas recycled is obviously old paper re-processed into usage again. The extra trees being planted would be eating up co2 in the air, which I suspect would easily offset the environmental cost of the process of cutting them down. There'd be an environmental cost to collecting and processing paper into recycled TP as well, but the degree of these would be difficult to know. Suffice it to say, you can probably rest easy either way, I'm sure.

      • Cheers mate. Of course, it will take a while to replace a tree but its good to know that they are thinking about it at least.

  • How much is the usual price for this?

  • Is this cheaper than aldi ones the double size rolls?

  • Exact same price per 100ss as the 36 roll bulk pack Woolies for $14 so the discount is in the rewards

  • Got this. Thanks OP!!

  • If you're not already a Prime member, then shipping kills the deal I'm affraid.

    $17.50 + $6.99 prime membership means that you're paying $3.02 per 1,000 sheets.

The regular 24 pack pack at Woolies works out at $2.78 per 1,000 sheets.

    • +1

What if we buy 3 ?

      • +1

Yes I was just about to say. Meet minimum $49 Free shipping haha

  • +1

Got it for $17.50 - arrives in 2 weeks LOL.

The Kleenex 45 role is $19 and arrives in 2 days…

    • +1

Damn, even two days is too long to wait trapped on the toilet.

  • 135 rolls of toilet paper on their way to my doorstep

  • nice - used the $30 voucher from the cancelled WD 4tb portable HDD deal.

135 rolls for $22.50 delivered = 16.67 cents per roll (9.26 cents per 100 sheets)

  • The price has gone up to $20.00 now..

    • Still showing $17.50 for me.

  • This has been going since the last post.. I ordered some a week ago :)

    • Went back to $20 for a few days and dropped again this morning :)

  • got one, thanks!
    17.5 for me

  • If anyone lives near Costco (and has a Costco membership already) they have a bulk buy of 48 rolls/270 sheets per roll, 3ply Kirkland brand for $21.99 Works out cheaper than this deal but the convenience of having it delivered and not waiting in line for a toilet paper trip only could outweigh the cheaper price.

Costco 270 sheets per roll = $0.0017 per sheet
Quilton 180 sheets per roll = $0.0022 per sheet

    Decisions… decisions.. :)

    • I believe ShopBack are offering 12% cashback across all categories today. Something worth noting.

      • Yup, bought one back when that deal was posted. Taking a while to ship though… slower than most other things from Amazon.

    • I've seen a few OzBargainers post about the Kirkland brand from Costco, so I went and bought one. However I don't think it's comparable to Quilton.

For me, it's too soft and tears really easily so you have to use more. So if you like soft tissue and don't care how much you use, go Kirkland. But if you're a true OzBargainer and only use one square then go Quilton.
