Any chance you could offer an S10E deal closer to the <$780 that samsung is selling them to students and corporates?

    • Hi Brucelamao,

Thanks for your suggestion. The current deal is the best we are able to offer right now for the S10e.

      • no worries, thanks!

        • Someone in the forums might be able to help you out if you're looking for one at those prices

  • So if i but optus note 9 and load the unlocked firmware (Samsung store does it for free) then will dual SIM work?

    • Hi hopper,

The network branded versions of the note 9 sim tray only has a single sim slot + microSD slot.

      • so does the unlocked once, u just need to put the sim in sd card slot.

        • They have different SIM trays, the network branded versions 2nd slot can only be used for MicroSD, it does not have a hybrid sim2/microSD slot that the unbranded Dual SIM version has.

    • Hi Hopper,

Sorry for noob question, but if you get the phone loaded with the unlocked firmware, does it then automatically start getting OTA updates (eg security updates) directly from Samsung?

      Thanks in advance,
      Tim

      • u will, but now a days all the updates are pushed at once (so unlocked and all the 2 major carriers) will push on one single day, this has started in US first, they want to make sure u dont buy phone direct but via plan.

You guys are not selling pixel 3a?

    • Hi mobiguru,

Sorry for late reply, currently no ETA on the Pixel 3a, but we are trying to secure stock of it.

Any chance of adding the Samsung charger pack offer…. same as your last deal. I'd definently pull the trigger if you can hook me up.

  • 24 Months Samsung Australia warranty

Does this mean we must go directly to Samsung should we experience a fault?

    • +2

why would you go anywhere else. I recently had a warranty claim and went straight to samsung. Had the phone back within 48hrs. Can be dropped off at any Samsung Kiosk or store https://www.samsung.com/au/findastore/. They also have a mail in repair service.

      • Yeah, I suppose that's a benefit of buying Samsung. Very popular. The LG V20 I sent in for repair was a complete nightmare despite JB Hi-Fi's excellent service.

    • Hi whaleoilbeefhooked,

Yes you'll be able to go directly to Samsung for warranty service.

  • Last year i was hoping for this price for this type of phone. But now because of my greed i want to get p30 pro for this prices. Tell me im dreaming.

  • $730 for S10E dual sim (grey stock) with code PSYCHED

    • What are the disadvantages having a grey import vs local stock??

      • +2

        Non AU plug (Adaptor provided)
NO Samsung pay (G pay can be used)
NO local warranty (Have to relay on Ebay seller warranty)

        • jeez, lucky I got the AU version then.

The non au plug doesn't matter but the other 2 does.

        • is there any carrier/frequency restrictions with greys?

      • grey stock no warranty im guessing

      • +1

Correct me if I am wrong, as far as I know the major disadvantages are:

        1. You won't be able to claim warranty with Samsung Australia, if your phone breaks you will have to send it overseas to claim the warranty.

        2. Samsung pay doesn't work with Grey Import phones (Unless you flash Australian Firmware).

You must be new around here… But you've been a member since 2014 and have over 3000 comments hmm.

        • I don't usually buy phones. Before I got s10e, I had the s6 edge which is over 4yrs old.

    • PSYCHED has expired for the grey import S10E

      • try PHOENIX for 15%

  • This code cannot be applied to my order….

    • Hi tagniteroi,

Which item are you trying to add? The T&C's of the PHOENIX code are found here, can you check to make sure you are eligible? Thanks

      • Trying the note 9… never had any problems with codes before… its ok. Thanks for replying

  • Can i claim go card price protection on note9 512 with this deal?
    Cheers

  • Is it only Max $200 discount or 15% of selling price?

  • What version of Android is the S9+ currently running?

    • The latest, S9 will likely get the next update currently called 'Android Q' but it hasn't been confirmed.

      • The S9 must be on Android 9/pie as the S8 got it last month. You would assume the S9 would therefore get the Q at some stage.

  • Are the network branded phones locked to the specific telco? Also, what branding is present? Is it just a boot logo or is there branding on the phone?

    • VoLTE is network locked from what I’ve heard with branded sammy phones.

    • Hi GGF6T,

Sorry for the late reply. The branded phones in this deal are not locked any specific telco, and will accept SIM from any Australian carrier. There may be a boot logo and a few preinstalled network apps.

Note 8 is pretty tempting for ~$615 (using woolies gift cards)
