Great little drone. Easy to fly and very stable. The controller is a must and it can be used with 3d goggles.

    • Otherwise? Can I control it with Android phone?

      • Yup

      • You can fly it with your android phone fine. I find the controller much easier and more precise. If you want to use it with goggles, which is pretty awesome and I recommend it, you will need to use your phone inside the goggles.

        • What sort controller do you recommend?

Does it still only work with the Gamesir T1d controller?

More of an indoors quadcopter than a drone as no GPS, so blows around like the plastic bad in American Beauty.

Maybe OK outside if you live somewhere that has windless conditions often. But I've had great fun flying mini-copters in the local community hall, until the boy scouts kick us out :)

    • How about for taking (casual) aerial photos? I said casual because I don't intend for serious photography.

      • If you can take photos while tilted then yeah.
I stay with my Phantom for aerial photos (for fun also)

        • Yes the camera is always horizontal relative to the drone, it doesn’t swing downwards. It still does good aerial photos, only with limited raccourse.

      • Very casual. Sadly the photos are in no way comparable to the Mavic/Phantom drones.

      • Thanks for your feedback guys … I'll give it a pass.

  • What is the normal price for this?

    • Normal price $169,

  • I bought one from OW for $128 2 days ago.

  • Op, how about deal on spark combo?

For anyone interested, this is very much an indoor drone and is a great bit of fun to play around with and do a few little stunts etc.

It's not really worth taking outside unless it's literally dead calm with no wind.
To give some perspective, I had a pedestal fan on the lowest speed and it flipped the Tello into a wall.

Totally agree with you. It's an indoor drone. I had to send my wife to pick it up from my neighbor as it was forced by the wind. Nothing like the spark, but it's great fun for the kids.
