I wonder what Bunnings response will be……

    • +6

      probably a tantrum

  • and usb charger

    • I lol'd

      • its on the far right of the pic op missed it

    • usb charger beats cable ties.

  • Bunnings usually respond with ozito 18v

    • +1

I don’t see any equalivent set from ozito

  • IS there a way of getting bigger batteries for these? Eg- 4AH or 5AH?

    • +3

Yes. ALDI sells 4AH batteries separately. Just keep a look out. Normally $39, sometimes $29. I got mine on clearance for between $15-20. They're Samsung cells inside as well.

      • Yeah I have the 4AH battery, didn't realise it was Samsung cells inside but that explains the awesome battery life I've gotten from it. Charges pretty quick too. Very impressed. I think I paid $29. They show up in stores throughout the year.

    • +1

At all my local Aldi's the 4Ah batteries go on clearance for $19 every year.

      • I’ve noticed all of my local Aldis stoped doing really good discounted specials. They only do 25% off with a rare find of 50%. It’s sad for the hunter as I would buy $100-400 worth of discounted goods a month.

  • Are these reasonable quality?

    • +2

Yes they are. But not trade quality

      • +2

        Yeah as pao2x said.

For odd jobs around the house they're great. I'm in the Aldi ecosystem now so this deal is music to my ears. In the past I used to have different brands with nothing interchangeable, what a headache. For the bigger jobs I have my Bosch Blue gear still but one item there is double the cost of this whole set, buying into their whole ecosystem is crazy expensive.

The 1.5AH batteries are the compromise in this package but can't complain for the price tag. Highly recommend people buy at least one 4AH battery when they are in store.

  • Not bad for a whole set…. but i'd only really use 1-2 pieces of it. lol.
Guessing selling these skins off on fleebay aren't worth anything…..

  • 5 year warranty is good

  • +1

I bought the circular saw reciprocating saw torch drill and driver 2x 4ah batteries charger and grinder kit ozito powerxchamge for $199 at bunnings ballina today

  • hope bunnings would have a deal to match this.

  • Last year's deal was slightly better value with a grinder and 2x 4AH batteries, instead of the sander/speaker and 2x1.5ah batteries.

  • Any ideas about this coffee machine? I am tempted.

    • bought it today, quality looks good

      • Are the filter baskets pressurised or non-pressurised? Also can you adjust the brew temperature? Website claims it has a PID which suggests it might.

  • Went to ALDI today, didn't see the tool kit (though I didn't look for it either). Did they sell out?

  • If anyone's still interested, for some reason Camberwell store has a stack of them (along with a lot of other tools). Was confused as current special buys don't have any tools on sale. $179 for the kit.
