Ordered this from the last deal that OP mentioned in the description on the 2nd of April. Got a notification in mid May saying that the cable (Red colour) was OOS and I can either wait for new stock which was estimated to arrive in a week or get a refund. I opted to wait as I need spare USB-C cables, however got another notification this morning saying that this cable is OOS and they have refunded my money. 6 weeks of wait for nothing while banggood is clearly still selling these cables, be cautious before ordering.

I've had a similar experience once as well, but for 99% of the other things I ordered from here, they arrived on time and there was no problem .
I had a similar experience. Bought in January when product was IN STOCK. After a long delay I asked them where the product was. They said it had turned into a back order. They said they would alert me when it was dispatched.
After almost 3 months the cables arrived but was never alerted that it was sent. Still good quality product & good value for money. But customer service is sloppy and wait time can be frustrating.
Is it true that the quality of BlitzWolf products has declined noticeably since they first got so popular here?
I'd like to know too otherwise I'd buy Belkin or Energized brand at store.
I used to buy the Blitzwolf stuff but got sick of waiting weeks for shipping from Banggood etc.

In my opinion, yes quality has declined. The last Blitzwolf braided cable I bought was faulty - sometimes would charge rapidly, sometimes slowly, other timed nothing at all. I asked support for replacement to be told to document everything via video first. I won't buy again.
I ordered for the first time about 6 months ago after seeing OzBargain popularity. 1 of the 2 cables I ordered only work intermittently if held at the right angle and like other posters here had to demonstrate through video. The other cable is okay but wasn't all that cheap. I'm reluctant to buy more after the experience.
I ordered two cables last time; one works perfectly, the other needs to be flipped upside down (usb-c) to charge.
All 3 of these that I ordered last time no longer fast charge.

Thanks OP but from last deal I got refunded even though I opt for wait not refund. And yet they are selling more here.
I ordered it outside special for about $10aud and they sent me type A to USB Mini. Sent them the pictures and asked them to resend. They said it was OOS so got refunded. This was in March then received in April. I recently reordered them for $11aud plus insurance/track number and air mail at the end of April and it's showing shipped ETA early June. Can't complain about their customer service as it was pretty good but there shipping is slow but not worth the price for priority
The red cable seems to a plastic from the pictures. Is it not a braided/woven thread like other BW USB cables?

I haven't used apple products so I don't know, but i have a few Blitzwolf cables with this PVC sleeve and they haven't degraded at all, no cracks or anything - but they certainly don't feel as tough as the braided ones do..
the have the. or all cables and their ampcore range which is usb 3.0 ….2 ranges that look similar but ampcore is double the price.
so quality hasn’t gone down, it depends which range you comparing it to.
