  • Are you sure this price includes delivery?

    • -3

Nope. Delivery is $9 to Sydney Metro unless you sign up for a free 30day Kogan plus trial (their version of prime)

      • +12

Mine came up as FREE delivery with the code 'ZIPFREE' to VIC Metro.

      • +4

Yes free now with code. Don’t think code was in the original post? If so, apologies!

    • +9

The ZIPFREE code posted by OP appears to give me free delivery.

      • Kogan never allows me to put in a promo code. What's up with that?
        (With adblock off or on)

  • Is the included cable/micro USB port type-C or the dinosaur version?

    • +1

      Micro USB

    • "or the Dinosaur version" lol

Micro usb might not be reversible, but is smaller also.

  • +2

Thanks op just ordered and great price with free shipping.

  • +1

    🙏🏻

  • +1

Great price, i desperately wise I had a need for yet another powerbank!

  • +4

drives me nuts that its 20ah at 3.7V not 5V which is the output voltage on the actual unit! really they should be listing the Wh(74)… At the out put voltage of 5v, its only 14800mAh…

    • i dont know power wattage etc but would you know if this would charge up a Nintendo switch?

      • if it uses a USB cable then yes, according to my google, it (the switch) only has a 4310mah battery, so i assume you should get around 2x full charges from it (even though its rated at 20,000mah, you' gonna loose a bit its not going to be 100% efficent…)

        • Are you sure? I am confused by those PD etc not knowing if just fast charge slow charge or not charging at all for Nintendo Switch. Any experts care to shade some light please?

          • +1

@wtfnodeal: No expert, but have one of these and a switch, slow charge, switch barely drop when using this/just charges depending on game. It certainly served it's purpose on long flights

    • Are all battery ratings for portable charges typically advertised at 3.7V output?

      • the ones i've seen are, i think its because the batteries they use are 18650 which are rated at 3.7 (4.2 when fully charged)

  • +1

Nice - got one thanks OP

  • +3

Thanks for the code! Got the Xiaomi umbrella for $25 delivered.

  • +1

bought one thanks for post. dont like buying impulse but cheaper than the aldi $10 for 6000mah powerbank. So should be good :))

  • +2

Ultra slim? Not really… Their 10400mah versions are the slim ones.

    • +3

Yep, it is almost an inch thick, which is not ultra slim in my books. Still a good price though.

      Dimensions 14.95 x 6.96 x 2.39 cm
      Weight 328 g

      • +2

It's one of the lightest 20,000s on the market and good efficiency

    • The old 10400mAh ones were short and chubby. The newer 10000mAh versions V 1 & 2 are flatter, thinner and lighter than the 10400.

This 10000mAh pro usb c is thinner and lighter still, also $25 delivered at the moment from Kogan.

  • +2

It sounds pretty cheap considering its 20000mah. Cheapest so far?

  • +1

Excellent price for this model. I've one that I purchased from a previous deal, and it's been very useful.

  • +2

Yes I think it is the cheapest I have seen in Ozbargain.

  • +4

Btw it is $1 cheaper at shopro

    • +1

Tempted to get it from Shoppro.

I've used them once before & it went well… quick free shipping.

  • +6

Good price. I have one of these and still use a Galaxy 7s edge so it's convenient for me that everything is micro USB. Those with later USB C ports on your phones will have to carry a second cable as you'll need to the micro cable to charge the power bank and a USB C cable to charge your phone from the power bank.

iPhone users will always need to carry two cables. And I did laugh at the description of charging an iPhone 6 up to 7 times iPhone 6 has a 1810 mAh battery, mathematically it should be able to do more than 7 charges but I guess theres sone sort of stored power loss and other factors. I can get about three and a half charge cycles out of my 4 year old 3500mAh capacity device - I've never tested charging the phone while it's off and usually I'm using it heavily while its charging from the power bank so I imagine people should be able to get more charge cycles out of it.

Must say I'm very happy with it and paid a bit more for it than it is priced now.

  • Anyone have this and know if it starts charging as soon as you plug a device in, or if you need to press a button to start?

    • I believe it just starts charging…. the button is for charging low energy devices(like mibands)…..

  • Do you know how much it weighs?

  • +1

Free shipping works with other items too.

I just got the power bank with some other things i wanted to get and shipping was FREE

  • was thinking about getting one but then had thoughts about taking it overseas. customs say it can't be more than 20 000 mAH …so it can't be carried on a plane?

    • +2

      Is 20000mAh more than 20 000mAh?

        • -1

          Output 5.1V 2.4A / 9V 2A / 12V 1.5A

So 20Ah * 9V (The midpoint between full charged and fully discharged) = 180Wh, which is more than 160, So is it not allowed on board?

          • @allenrong88: do they check these things?

          • +1

@allenrong88: Don't they usually rate power banks on the lithium cell voltage contained within?

            So it would be 3.7v * 20Ah = 74Wh

The battery packs achieve higher outputs using boost converters to step up the battery voltage, reducing current and achieving similar Wh ratings.

          • @allenrong88: Negative ghost rider…
            It charges at 2A(max) at 9v, it doesn't have 20,000mAh at 9v.

mAh is a measure of stored charge (it can supply 1A for 20 hours at 3.7v)
A is a measure of current flow.

the 20,000 mAh is for 3.7v, your better off using watt hours, check your airline, most allow 100wh, which is about 27,000mAh…@ 3.7v

    • +5

I have carried three 20k mAh and went to US and Europe. No issues.

  • +1

Thanks for the code, I got this one instead even though it's half capacity but it's USB C! $25 Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro (Gold) https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/xiaomi-10000mah-mi-power-bank-p…

    • Both batteries are really good for features for the prices delivered, just suit different needs.

  • would this be any good for a 39 led 12v flounder light?
I am unsure about this kind of battery pack.
    any info much appreciated

    • Hi firedog180, this power pack is only 5 volts. You need a 12-volt source for your light.

      • thank you for your reply mrwolf.
I thought it might be ok as in the specs it said something about 12v 1.5 amp output.
But obviously no good if it is only a 5 volt battery…cheers mate
