To cover 15/20% of fees and price jacking against the carriers directly?

  • Save > 15% by not using webjet

In fact I’m going to neg this as I just did a test

    Avalon to Sydney $45 Jetstar
    Avalon to Sydney $46 Webjet….plus
    Webjet Booking Price Guarantee
    $12.95
    Webjet Servicing Fee
    $21.95

No fees at the airlines website! What’s the difference. A website is a website. Why give one an extra $35?

I understand they are good for the unseasoned traveller who wants to compare. But paying 40% extra for the pleasure? Please…

  • Use it for hotels.

  • Why would anyone pay over $30 for a "service" fee these days???
    Madness….

I also tried searching for New York hotels and couldn't find one anywhere cheaper in price for the ones I was looking at it…. even with 15% off.
You can get 11/12% of with Expedia and Agoda with your Mastercard, which would mean you have to spend over $1000 to get it cheaper through Webjet after you factor in the service/booking fees… But I couldn't find a hotel cheaper to start with!

How the heck they are in business is anyone’s guess.

  • Been saving loads with these deals, guess it depends where you're flying to/from.
