  • Anyone else getting 502 Bad Gateway error when trying to subscribe to email notifications on this page? https://www.clickfrenzy.com.au/

    • I'm getting the same thing, but it seems to go through as I got an email from Click Frenzy confirming subscription.

  • How come there are 50 items on the page of OzBargain 2019 Click Frenzy Sales/Promo…
….and everything is already Expired or is Out of Stock before starting?

    • +1

That should read 2018, I'll get that fixed thanks. That section will be removed once the 2019 deals start rolling in.

      Edit: Fixed

  • Can’t wait! I have never won a deal hoping to get a Samsung!

  • Has anyone won from Perth? I have done this 3 years in a row and won nothing. Is the distance a factor?

    • I won a Fitbit last year, that was my first time doing it.

  • +1

    Back again 😆

  • +10

They didn't send my go wild order last year and when I complained on Facebook in the click frenzy comments they block me from the click frenzy page :(

  • -1

is it 1 go wild item per household again? anyone circumnavigate that barrier?

    • +1

      One item per household again:

The limit of purchases for the entire duration of the Click Frenzy Go Nuts sale (between 19:00 AEST May 21, 2019 and 23:59 AEST May 22, 2019) is one item per user, household and/or IP address. Once any item is ordered during the 29 hour period, the limit for that user/IP address/household has been reached. Any purchases made in contravention of any such applicable restrictions or conditions may be cancelled by Click Frenzy and any monies refunded.

  • +1

Goodluck everyone with the Go Nuts deals. I like that they have changed the process of getting the deals this time around.

    • Last time they did something similar it was questions that no one could really know except insiders, so basically guessing games.

      • I hope it is not a random guess question. Example being "How many people visited the luggage category in the November 2018 event?" That wouldn't attract many people (including me) to their pages.

        • +1

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 4 or 5 times…

      • The last 99% off deals were questions regarding their own deals or sites. The guessing game ones about the amount of traffic and such were in the month after where they had 'excess stock' of items from the cancelled orders I believe.

    • It will be good if the emails actually arrive on time.

I have a feeling it’ll be delayed again, especially since they’ve changed the process of the 99% deals

  • +27

Ah Click Bait Frenzy is back.

    • +7

      Minus the Frenzy.

    • -2

it should eb banned from here, the whole sites a scam

  • +5

Good luck to everyone willing to spend hours to try to secure a deal.

I'd rather pay extra than play this silly video game again.

  • +1

I'm tempted to 'play' again. It's so stupid of me but I'll probably find myself trying to grab a 99% off deal.

Go Nuts is very accurate. I go nuts every year trying.

    • At least this year it's about "Accuracy" first… whatever that means

      1. Answers will be ranked by accuracy first, speed second.
      • +3

It's the same as earlier. If you got answer wrong, you were out.

By the sound of it, the only difference is that they skipped the whole cart etc, so it's basically just the first step. Which makes it more about answering the question quickly and less about knowing the checkout process and pre-filling address and payment details etc.

    • Have I ever told you the definition of insanity?

  • -2

got an apple watch last time, let's see if I can get that s10e this time :D

    • Aww, you're making the people cry. I haven't won in these ones, but picked up some of the Gearbest ones when they were doing them.

      • yeah i wasn't expecting downvotes yeesh.

  • +2

Anyone received any emails about the go nut deal time frames?

  • +1

Oh no here we go again

  • +8
  • The website is already open for me?

  • +8

Don’t know about other folks, but I’ve largely found clickfrenzy to be fairly underwhelming; lots of promises but not much substance. Could just be me, or maybe I’m expecting too much. I guess time will tell.

    • +3

yeah i dont ever buy anything from these, just have a try for the go nuts deals

      • +1

Fair enough. I hope you win something this year :)

    • +3

Yep, it's not like black friday sales. Basically discounts the same as a normal sale would be or reduced to the same level you can buy stuff online usually anyway. It's also limited to older stock they need to shift. Nothing special at all.

It's literally just a way for them to add referral tracking cookies on your device to earn commission on purchases you make.

      First go nuts deals: https://i.imgur.com/L0haAvB.jpg

      • Well I don’t like that at all. Seems shady to some extent (adding the cookies), but then again I’m probably fairly naive when it comes to my expectations of privacy when using the Internet; I’m beginning to consider I probably have none.

So it’s basically akin to a digital version of going to Harbor Town and entering a raffle at the food court?

  • Have they even announced those super click deals or whatever yet?

    • i made an account and havent recieved any emails

    • +1

Just received an email about 5 minutes ago. It seems to indicate the first go wild deals won’t start until 8pm.

      • Tonight or tomorrow night?

  • +1

has anyone actually succeeded getting a go nuts deal in the past?

    • +1

Yep, I got one last time.

    • +1

I've gotten one for the past three deals

    • +1

      no

    • Got the TV but took them 2 months to actually ship it.

      • wow!
im actually surprised so many people succeeded. Are the questions hard?

        • +1

There were questions like "Brand X sells an item called A, B, and what?" so you would quickly search up the brand and try to figure out what the correct word/phrase would be in the position of "C".

The questions were all related to the site, so the search bar was the most helpful.

          • @Kolkolnut: thanks for that

          • @Kolkolnut: Doesn't sound like it's multi choice? So you have to fill in the blank?

            • @ChronoSphinx: Yes, the blank was the answer you required last year. Another example is "What item is worn on your face and is also shaped as an inflatable pool toy advertised by Clark Rubber?" etc.

    • nope

    • +1

Yep, got the TV last year. Picked it up from their office.

Got an Xbox in the one earlier last year.

    • +1

I won an Xbox last year

    • +1

Yep, I managed to get a Nintendo Switch last year :)

  • +7

    8pm-9pm

    Apple watch | $5
    Uber $150 voucher | $1

    9pm-10pm

    Visa $100 | $1
    Samsung S10e | $12

    • Thanks for the update!

    • +1

was this by email? …I didn't get any email D:

      • +1

Yep, by email - got it at 6:50PM AEST

        • I got the email, but will the deals be emailed to us? How do we get the link for the "go nuts" deals?

          • @ChronoSphinx: Via the notification bell at the top… once they fix their site.

        • Definitely didn't get an email nor spambox ><
…maybe its because I signedup via facebook?

          • +2

@sudapha: Click Frenzy are notoriously unreliable for sending out emails to everyone, you can probably just keep an eye on this thread though for updates regarding item timings. Just double check you are subscribed though by doing it again, they are likely to disqualify you if you win a prize but not subscribed.

          • @sudapha: I signed up via Facebook and just got an email from them… 7:15pm

    • +1

      Nothing at 7?

      • +1

That's all that is in the email. Looks like first ones will be at 8pm.

        21/5 8pm-9pm AEST: $150 Uber Vouchers $1 & Apple Watches $5
        9pm-10pm AEST: $100 Click Frenzy VISA Cards $1 & Samsung Galaxy S10E Phones $12

Remember, the process to secure a 99% off bargain is slightly different this year. Check out the new process here.

        • Cool thanks, I haven't received email yet. Do we still refresh with the notification to get it faster?

          • @fruxo: I'm not completely sure if it's better to refresh or just wait.

Just make sure you have your account setup and logged in, the website also recommends turning on browser notifications.

            • @hamza23: The only time I agreed to browser notifs. But seems like it doesn't alert at all. Have to manually go on the site and check top right anyway!

              • @capslock janitor: Yeah no Chrome notifications here either, I asked a couple others and it's the same for them, it doesn't appear CF have setup the browser notifications despite their instructions.

  • Will eBay be doing anything for this click frenzy?

    • They aren't listed as participating.

    • They have "PHONO" code for electronics

Sometimes not direct participants but they host their own sales about the same dates

  • +2

Site is bugged for me, cant see timer or alert notification box

    • Same

    • ditto no timer or notification

  • Damn already missed out on the Go Nuts Deals - didn't get any notifications.

    • They don't start until 8pm AEST

  • So, was it meaning by 'notification'?

    • There was a notification icon on the site which has now disappeared for some reason :o

      • Where was it located?

      • …no notification for me :S

      • The icon is back…

        https://imgur.com/a/UGkwWaj

        • Not for me. Weird.

          EDIT: shown now

        • Not for me :(
          Yes I tried refreshing.

          Edit: now working.

          • +1

@pennypincher98: so it took one minute for icon to appear after other users, then imagine the notification

            • +1

@Pricebeat: I'm hoping the notification will be instant otherwise the 8-9pm one will be all I'm doing.
