  The model is an 'app cam solo 2' in case you want to check out the manual on unidens website.

  The solar panel is for the 'app cam solo +'

  You might be sad trying to redeem that….

  Reviews say it uses cr style batteries. Not cheap, not externally powerable.

    And yeh, solar panel redemption is for the Solo+ which has been updated to use rechargeable batteries.

      $36 for 16 CR123A at Amazon. $18 to replace the batteries in the two cameras. Replace the batteries 6 times and batteries will cost more than the cameras. Each battery change lasts 6 months (1 detection per day and no streaming) or 10 hours daytime streaming or 5 hours infra-red streaming.

  I don't think to solar panel redemption applies to this product. That is for the App Cam Solo +, whereas this is the App Cam Solo (no +). This doesn't support charging via the camera in any case.

  This will, however take RCR123s.
