I'm guessing it might not work for Android.

    • Nah it is working fine on my Android, Netflix works and I used the Singapore server.

  • You got access to US Netflix using the Singapore server?
How does that work? I thought the whole point was to use a server in the US to get past geoblocking? Sorry I'm new to all the technicalities of VPNs

    • In case it ever matters, the company address seems to be in GREECE.

      • Yes it was originally based on the Isle of Man in the UK, but they relocated to Greece to get out of the 5 eyes alliance.

        • Tnx, OM ;~)

Doesn't need to be a valid email address on the shareware site!

  • Registered. I can view US Netflix contents and will watch something later.

    Thanks.

  • Got the trial, downloaded onto my android phone and was able to get US Netflix on the Dallas server and UK Netflix on the London 4 server. Very basic app, but impressed by the Netflix ability. There are P2P optimised servers and a whole bunch of locked out servers that you have to pay extra for.

    • Can also get Singapore Netflix on the Singapore-1 server.

  • Nice find OP.

    Tried, tested and it sucks.

  • Code Generic Test:
    Does it end in A07A?

    • Mine ends in C26D.

      • So actual unique codes. Wow!

    how fast is it?

  • This work on the PS4?

I was so impressed with this VPN trial that I went and bought the 5 year subscription at Stack Social. $18USD with code WEEKEND25.

    https://stacksocial.com/sales/zoog-vpn-5-year-subscription

I've got access to all the servers now. Heaps optimised for P2P, but it's the ability to access Netlfix in so many regions that really impressed me.

  • Are data limits on a vpn normal? My old one and my current one both don't and I never saw data limits when I was researching which one to go with.
I'm currently with PIA Btw and I can get Netflix to most regions including USA.

    • +1

Data limits usually only apply to free VPNs and trials.

What you are getting here is a gimped trial, not the Premium Subscription which has unlimited data and more servers.

  • I get constant "Network Connection Failed"

What platform? Mines working on all servers on android now using 4G, and worked on wifi when I was home.

I can get Singapore Netflix on 4G, and it streams almost straight away without buffering. I've never had a VPN work so well on mobile. It probably helps that I am in WA. It's a short hop to Singapore from Perth.

FWIW, Singapore Netflix has an even better catalogue than US Netflix.

      • "FWIW, Singapore Netflix has an even better catalogue than US Netflix."
        Could you please elaborate? Thanks

        • Each country has a different selection of films and television on their local Netflix. Some prefer the US, some rate Canada, Brazil or Sweden etc. Singapore is pretty darn good IMO. Very similar to the US, but there extra films that the US doesn't have. So it's fun to use a VPN and see what other countries are getting and cherry pick the shows you want to watch.

I've tried VPNs before and found that it really slows down my internet. Is that still the case with these?
Last time I was trying US Netflix and it was barely loading 1 in 3 shows and that was on my 100mb connection.

  • So annoying no VPN I've tried can get through Amazon Prime region lock. I want Bosch season 5 dammit!

    • +1

Hey I just read your post and tested my Ivacy app on android. They have a dedicated US Amazon Prime streaming server. I just fired it up and started watching Bosch season 5 over 4G. Works.

      • +1

Seriously THANK YOU! I'm going to check that out appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

        • +1

No worries. Glad you asked because I keep forgetting there is different stuff on Amazon Prime in the US.

Also, Ivacy VPN Lifetime Subscriptions can be had real cheap right now over at Stack Social. Ozbargain is onto it.

          • +1

@Ge3ks: Wow that is one hell of a deal, thank you again. My TorGuard subscription just finished up about a week ago so this is the perfect timing. I'm assuming you're a happy user of Ivacy. I'll do a bit more research but everything looks good to me so far.

            • +1

@TheGoodPart: Yeah Ivacy is decent. Based in Singapore. People have varying experiences with their speed. They only have US Netflix, but it's the only VPN I have used that also offers a dedicated US Amazon Prime server. They seem to have have loads of P2P servers, and their apps are terrific. Very user friendly.

But if it were just for Netflix alone, I'd probably choose Zoog.

              • +2

@Ge3ks: Yeah I've been reading a bunch of reviews, some very happy with the service others not. A bit of a risk, the pricepoint for a lifetime subscription seems decent with the weekend25 coupon applied. I'll do a bit more research before jumping in. Thanks again.

              • +1

@Ge3ks: Jumped on it, price was too good to pass up on and now I'm sitting here watching season 5 of Bosch :-) My girlfriend is gonna be so happy its our favourite show! A million thanks again

  • BBC iplayer doesn't work

    • The only reason I got it :(

    • Thanks for letting me know also!
      Suggestions for an alternative

  • I installed the zoog app from play store on mi TV box and everything installed and connects ok. But no US netflix. Netflix app message pops up showing it knows I'm connecting via vpn. What am I doing wrong?

    • Same here. I connected to the US Dallas server, couldn't stream Netflix.
I cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled netflix. Restarted my modem and router. Yet Netflix knows that I am using a VPN. Very frustrating!

  • My zoog quota got reset to 0B yesterday, so it no longer works :(

Edit: still works, but it's probably just the free plan

  • Tried to use this with UK Channel4 but it says not available in your area. Am I doing something wrong?
