  pourer for easy oil removal

  Relatively easy. The spout is so wide that I have to bend the pan to stop the oil pouring out like a waterfall.

    OldBugger do you know the height demensions roughly of this pan mentioned, I had a look on the site and other reviews with no luck.

  I had this and ended up binning it. The spout is too wide, makes it very difficult to pour back into an empty oil container.

    Yeah I agree but using a wide funnel in the mouth of an empty oil container makes it easier.

      The old version the spout was to narrow with no 'funnel' effect when pouring the contents out, so it was a massive pain in the ass also. I still use it.
      But if you have spare/old oil containers, nothing works better than just cutting the side out and using that as a catch tray. Then can remove the lid to pour into unmolested container/drum.

        Only problem is when there's more oil in the engine than the 5L bottles!

  Spout is the most important feature and I would hate to be transferring from this one without a big funnel the use of which defeats the purpose of an an all in one drain pan.
