It is formatted in "HFS+ Journaled", (for more info, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HFS_Plus)
To use with Windows, you will need to install a simple driver program which will allow you to pick up the hard drive. This is available here: http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive/
(Theoretically you should be able to get the 5 day free trial of the driver, then reformat the drive to a Windows friendly format during that 5 days. For confirmation, please check with Mediafour if this is possible prior to following this advice)
