  Why is it that all of the websites that have these prices are coming up as scam websites? Look at the reviews for Smartfares (the site with these prices) or gotogate etc and they have 1 star from hundreds of reviews. Has anyone ever used these sites, I'm very dubious.

  Any comment from the op?

    The reviews aren't great, but you don't tend to get happy reviewers as much going on and talking about it. I've used gotogate several times without problem (trans-Tasman flights) and smartfares once, so I guess people's mileage varies. I have friends who wouldn't fly Emirates again or even Qantas after a bad experience, whereas I am excited if I fly on those airlines.

    If you're also nervous about purchasing online, you can use your credit card and then at least get your money back if necessary. A friend did that recently with an online site that took days for her flight email to get sent, was worried it was a scam, Visa cancelled the purchase, and then the email came through :/

      I was all excited to book but after checking the reviews I'm worried about going through them. Would the airlines match these prices? How are they able to do it so much cheaper?

  These cheap websites are good if you're 100% certain of your dates. If there's a chance you may need to change dates, book directly from airline. Else you may be in a world of pain.

  Book with these cheap websites in advance using credit card and make sure you get airline reservation code.

    Note that even when booking directly with the airline, some tickets (super cheap) aren't changeable, or may cost several hundred dollars to change. Always read the T&Cs.

  Can I enter through Tokyo and exit Osaka and be able to get approx these prices too? Or is it a hard no, same port only?
