Website modal covering the entire page forcing registration before even showing the items and prices. Brilliant marketing strategy.

    • Even worse, the confirmation email doesn't even go through.

If you've got NRMA membership they have deals on cruises to see Vivid.

I’m booked on this deal tonight
I’ll let yoos know how many drinks u can get in
In a happy hour bar right at the wharf on $6 schooners
The banter from the Barangaroo bankers warrants the cheap drinks, it’s so bad I’ve spent a fortune already

OK so I managed 6 beers easily.
The wine is served in these tiny plastic glasses, maybe 100mls, maybe less.
The bar opens right after the safety talk, the staff are great, friendly efficiency.
No limit on the number of drinks you can order.
Not many people on our cruise, hard to see how they couldve made a profit.
The boat is a wreck, its like a crap nightclub from the 80s. They actually played OK music though, inoffensive and catering for a broad age range, a lot of Fleetwood Mac.
The cruise itself is total rubbish to see Vivid, the only lights you see well are the harbour bridge pylon ones, they are a gesture towards the traditional landowners which is pretty good.
The boat just goes up and down straight in the middle of the harbour so not close enough to anything.
for $35 its a good deal. If I had paid full price I would be furious.

      • Thanks mate, your recount hasn't gone in vain
